Jada Johnson June 1 Three paragraph “ essay”

How did we learn what we know today? There are several ways to respond to this question, but evolution is
one of them. Evolution is the process by which a species adapts, learns, and changes in respons to its environment.
The evolution of the human species has led to our current level of knowledge about both our own nature and the wor
ld we live in. As a result, the brain grows and develops. leading to quicker learning .

As was already established, learning helps our thoughts grow.Charlie, for example, was less naive after his
operation. He picked up information far more quickly and became more conscious of his surroundings and the people
he was around. As when he saw that his socalled "friends" were intentionally making fun of him to make themselves
laugh."had no idea what to do or how to proceed. ” Everyone was looking at me and laughing and felt naked. wanted
to hide myself. _ ran out into the street and threw un. Then walked home. It's a funny thing I never knew that Joe
and Frank and the others liked to have me around all the time to make fun of me. Now know what it means when
they say "to pull a Charlie Gordon." I'm ashamed." (Charlie Gordon 78-80) . Your brain is also connected to sensors
or receptors in your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and skin. Your brain may respond to sensory information automatically
(such as causing your body to shiver when it is very cold), or it may cause you to alter your behavior. For example,
if a room is too cold, your brain might send signals to muscles to get you to move to a warmer place or to put on a
sweater." (Form... and Function 7) Natural instincts are also subject to evolution. It is a manner of being. thinking, or
feeling that cannot be taught or acquired. Humans, for example, are inherently hunters and gatherers, or they
approximate. "This is not to say that we're all secret computational geniuses. A baby chewing on her toes is not
demonstrating in sign language that 12 squared is 144. What does come naturally, though, is the ability to
approximate. If our ancestors hadn't been able to judge at a glance whether they were outnumbered by mastodons, or
which bush held the most berries, we might not be around today, Every time you leave your algebra class and scan
the cafeteria for a table that will fit all of your friends, you're exercising the ancient estimation center in your brain.

Development is one way we have come to know what we know. We are able to develop and learn
.Our lives are greatly impacted by the things we learn and develop .Our lives are greatly impacted by the
things we learn and develop into. Charlie went from being a fool to becoming the brightest
man in the world.Because of observation, present and future generations will be able to survive . It has been
made easier  to create a functioning society by using our brains. Technology has advanced as a result of learning.
Evolution is the process by which species adapt, learn, and change in response to their changing
environment, resulting in faster learning.
