Remember: Through projects, learners are able to demonstrate their understanding of different Mathematics concepts and apply them in real-life
situations.

The theme of all the grades for this exercise are the same. To do it like this it is easier to make sure that the levels of questions are not the same.
The theme for these examples will be: A day at the beach.
Here are a few other topics that can be used in your school. Be creative and build around these topics, combine some of them or create your
own one.
Each grade can have a different theme.

A day at the beach.

Finally! The day has arrived for our family to go to the beach. The
whole family went to the shop to purchase everything that we are
going to need for our outing.

We took part in different activities, ate some refreshments and just


enjoyed the water, sand and sun. At five o’clock that evening we
all packed up our belongings and put them back into our car. As I
sat in the back seat of the car, I looked out of the window to have a
quick look at the clear blue seawater one last time.

During the day the family had to make different calculations. You must help them to get the
answers.
