INTRODUCTION

From precision flight controls to aerodynamic nacelle systems

and powerful engine exhaust systems, every detail works to
enhance the airplane’s performance. Thrust reversal systems
are designed to slow the aircraft upon landing.
This bypass air produces reverse
thrust when activated by an air
motor. While the plane is in flight,
the reverse thrust vanes are
FUNCTION blocked by doors that fold back
when the pilot deploys the system.
This blocks the last nozzle and the
cold stream and redirects this air
flow to the vanes.

OVERHAUL
Thrust reverser repairs, as an AMT, we much
have a knowledge in the repair and
replacement of mount rings, hinge beam

upgrades.

Corrosion can spread throughout the thrust

reverser assembly and cause extensive
damage.
