Floral Offering Ceremony bilang paggunita ng

124th Araw ng Kalayaan

Ipinagdiwang ng Filipino community sa Vienna ang 124th Araw ng
kalayaan sa pamamagitan ng isang floral Offering Ceremony na ginanap
sa garden ng  Vienna City Hall kung saan itinanim ang Catalpa tree
bilang paggunita ng Phillippine Centennial ng Independence Day noong
1998. Pinangunahan ito ng Philippine-Austrian Cultural and Education
Society.

Panauhing pandangal  ang bagong Charge d’Affaires ng Philippine

Embassy dito sa Vienna. Nagagalak ang bagong Charge d‘ Affaires na
makita ang pag-usbong ng catalpa tree at isang mahalagang sibolo daw
ito ng pagkakaibigan ng bansang Austria at Pilipinas.

Nagkaroon din ng pagbibigkas ng Panatang Makabayan. Ang ilan ay

hindi pa ito nakakalimutan habang ang karamihan ay gumamit ng
kodigo sa pagrecite nito. Inawit ang kantang Ako ay Pilipino bilang
pangwakas na parte ng maikling pagititipon bilang paggunita ng ika 24
anibersaryo ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas.
