SPM-IDTP70 SETUP PROCEDURE:

 SUPPLY WIRING TO TERMINAL R, B, G, N AND EARTH. (MAKE SURE GROUNDING IS PROPER)


 TURN ON MAIN MCB
 WAIT UNTILL MMT LOGO APPEARS ON HMI SCREEN
 PRESS HOMING BUTTON TO HOME ALL AXIS TO ITS PREDEFINED HOME LOCATION
 ENTER WORKPIECE RELATED DATA SUCH AS LENGTH OF PIPE, ID TURNING LENGTH, PARTING
LENGTH, CHAMFERING LENGTH, RELATED DELAYS AS PER REQUIREMENT
 GO TO MANUAL TAB AND MAKE JOB OFFSET SETTING ACCORDING TO ABOVE GIVEN DATA
 PERSS FORWARD/REVERSE BUTTON ON SCREEN TO MOVE Z-SLIDE ALONG PARTING TUBE
NEAR THE JAW AT REQUIRED LENGTH
 PRESS UNCLAMP HYD CHUCK, FEED PIPE THRU PIPE FEEDER TO MINIUM LENGTH COME OUT
FROM JAWS TILL MARGINAL LENGTH AHEAD OF PARTING TOOL
 RELEASE UNCLAMP BY PRESSING SAME BUTTON ON HMI SCREEN TO LOCK THE HYD CHUCK
 MANUALLY CHECK THE PIPE IS FIX TO THE JAWS OR ROTATE WITH HYD CHUCK
 START AC VFD TO ROTATE HYD CHUCK, MANUALLY
 SLOWLY FORWARD/REVERSE X-SLIDE OR PARTING SLIDE TO MAKE PARTING CUT
 AS PIPE INITIAL SECTION GETS PARTED, SLOWLY RETRACT X-SLIDE TO ORIGINAL POSITION
WHERE IT STARTED- SET THIS POSITION “0” FOR Z-AXIS
 NOW SLOWLY FORWARD Z-SLIDE TO NEGATIVE DIRECTION TO “0” AND FORWARD/REVERSE
X-SLIDE SLOWLY TO TAKE TOUCH POINT ON X AXIS- SET THIS POSITION 0 FOR X-AXIS
 THIS POSITION NEED TO BE FOLLOWED EACH AND EVERY TIME FOR DIFFERENCT OD SIZES OF
PIPE/TUBES

INTERLOCKS:
 HYDRAULIC “ON” CONDITION ALWAYS STAY ACTIVE HIGH IN AUTO CYCLE MODE.
 WORKHEAD MUST BE ON UNTIL UNLESS CYCLE ABORT COMMAND USE IN AUTO
MODE
 AT ANY CONDITION OPERATOR CAN NOT MAKE MANUAL SELECTION IN AUTO CYCLE
MODE. CYCLE STOP CONDITION MET IN ORDER TO GO INTO MANUAL MODE.
 AT CYCLE “END”, SLIDE REVERSE BACK TO “HOME” POSITION.
 HYDRAULIC AND WORK HEAD SPINDLE (ON/OFF) OPTION UNSELECTABLE IN AUTO
CYCLE MODE
 ERROR OFFSECT OPTION CAN ONLY BE COMPENSATED DURING AUTO CYCLE WHILE
ENABLE CYCLE STOP SIGNAL TO ENTER SERVO PARAMETERS
 OPERATOR CAN RESUME CYCLE AFTER MAKING NECESSARY CHANGES IN CYCLE STOP
MODE AND PRESS CYCLE START AGAIN

 PRESS HOME BUTTON IF OPERATOR NEED TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. ALL AXIS MOVE
TO ITS HOME LOCATION. AT EMERGENCY, CYCLE REVERSE BACK TO RELATED HOME
POSITION ONE ACTION AT A TIME

AUTO CYCLE OPERATIONS


AFTER SETTING THE JOB OFFSET AND VALUES OF POSITION OF RELATED OPERATION,
OPERATOR CAN NOW BE READY TO DO AUTO CYCLE OPERATION
1) OPERATOR SELECT AUTO OPERATION, START HYDRAULIC, START WORKHEAD
2) PRESS CYCLE START PB
3) AUTO CYCLE STARTS WITH PARTING OPEARTION WITH ALL CONDITION MET
4) Z-SLIDE ADVANCE TO “0” POSITION FROM HOME POSITION AT SELECTED FEED RATE
5) X-SLIDE ADVANCE TO START POSITION FOR PARTING OPEATION AT SELECTED FEED
RATE
6) PARTING OPERATION BEGINS AT PARTING FEED RATE
7) SLIDE REVERSE TO START POSITION OF CHAMFERING AFTER PARTING OPERATION AT
RETURNING FEED RATE AS PER PROGRAMMED
8) CHAMFERING OPERATION BEGINS AS PER SET PARAMETER AND FEED RATE
9) SLIDE POSITION TO ID TURNING OPERATION TOOL AS PER POSITION INPUT
10) ID TURNING OPERATION BEGINS AS PER FEED RATE
11) SLIDE POSITION TOPULLER CYLINDER START POSTION AS PER REQUIRED INPUT
12) PULLER CYLINDER CLAMP OPTION ENERGISED ONCE SLIDE TAKES IT END POSITION TO
PULL TUBE FROM TUBE FEEDER.
13) HYDRAULIC CHUCK UNCLAMPS AND POSITION SLIDE RETRACT AS PER INPUT DATA
14) HYDRAULIC CHUCK CLAMPS AND PULLER CHUCK UNCLAPS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND Z-
SLIDE RETRACT BACK AS PER INPUT DATA+SAFETY SPOT
15) AND CYCLE CONTINUES UNTILL THE USER PRESS CYCLE ABORT PUSH BUTTON.
16) IF LS6 SENSOR NOT ON AND FEED HOLD SWITCH PRESSED, AUTO STAGE PROCESS
TURNS IN TO SEMI AUTO STAGE, WHERE OPERATOR CAN FEED NEW PIPE TO THE
SYSTEM AND RESTART THE OPERATION WHERE IT STOPS AFTER RELEASEING FEED
HOLD SWITCH.
