Lesson There are two ways to get the meaning of the unfamiliar words in a text and that is through
Introduction word association or analogy and classification.
Analogy – is a comparison of two things that may have opposite or different
characteristics or features. It tells how words are associated or related with one another by
showing the comparison between two things that are different but are similar in some
ways.
Example: Big is to large as happy is to merry.
