INTRODUCTION

Work program (RP) of the academic discipline "General information about

aircraft (structure, systems and power plant)" was developed on the basis
of the "Methodical recommendations for the development and design of the work program of
the academic discipline of full-time and correspondence forms of education", approved by the
rector's order dated 04/29/2021 No. 249/od, and relevant regulatory documents.

1. EXPLANATORY NOTE

1.1. Place, goal, tasks of the educational discipline. The

place of this educational discipline in the system of professional training of a specialist
is that it is the theoretical basis of the set of knowledge and skills that form the aviation profile
of a specialist in flight operation of aircraft. The goal of the discipline is to master theoretical
knowledge in the field of modern transport, acquire practical skills and abilities in the organization
of air transport, the ability to use the acquired knowledge in the process of flight operation
of aircraft.

The tasks of the academic discipline are students' mastery of:

– studying the structure of the airframe; – study of aircraft
systems, and the ability to control and know the correct actions during the failure of systems
under the control parameters, flight time.

– study of aircraft power plants, and the ability to manage and control parameters, to know
the correct actions in the event of a power plant failure during flight. know the procedure
of actions according to the manual for the flight operation of the aircraft (AFM) during the
procedure of pre-flight preparation (PFI) of the aircraft before the flight 1.2. Learning
outcomes that the academic discipline makes possible to achieve. Understanding of the
design of the airframe of the aircraft and its components, namely: AFM (Flight Operations
Manual) (AFM), MTO (Maintenance Manual) (AMM), of the appropriate type of aircraft.
Understanding the design of an aircraft engine and its components, namely:

KLE (AFM), KTO (AMM), corresponding type of aircraft engine.

Understanding the design of aircraft systems and their components, namely: CLE(AFM),
WHO (AMM), corresponding type of aircraft.

Mastering the basic provisions, correctly and safely operating the

aircraft systems during the entire flight in accordance with the
CLE(AFM), KTO(AMM). Mastering the basic principles of correctly and
safely operating the aircraft engine and its systems during the entire
flight in accordance with the CFE(AFM), KTO(AMM).

1.3. Competences that the educational discipline makes it possible

to acquire. ZK 03. Skills in using information and communication technologies.
ZK 04. Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level. ZK 09. Ability
to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. *Taken from OPP

1.4. Interdisciplinary
connections. Interdisciplinary connections of the academic discipline: is
based on the knowledge of such disciplines as: "Higher mathematics",
"Physics", "Operational procedures", "Aerodynamics and flight dynamics of
aircraft" and is the basis for studying further disciplines, namely: "Aviation
characteristics and planning", "Navigation", "Principles of flight".

2. PROGRAM OF EDUCATIONAL DISCIPLINE

2.1. Program of educational discipline.

The training material of the discipline is structured according to the
modular principle and consists of three training modules, namely: - training
module No. 1 "General information on the design of aircraft gliders".
- educational module No. 2 "General information on the design of aircraft
systems". - educational module No. 3 "General information on the
design of the aircraft power plant", each of which is a logically completed,
relatively independent, integral part of the educational discipline, the
mastery of which involves conducting a modular control work and analyzing
the results of its implementation.
