B. Introduction:
i. Benefits of conducting Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and
Risk Control
(HIRARC) in the workplace.

i) the identification of undesirable events that lead to the existence of danger and the mechanisms that

enable the undesirable event to occur. to ensure a safe and healthy workplace, employers must ensure that

there is no hazard that can be exposed to workers and people other. In addition, the Employer must

identify hazards as part of risk management and work planning to avoid potential hazards that can be

taken action and prevented. HIRARC is a general duty of employers under the Occupational Safety and

Health Act 1994 (Act 514), where employers have to provide a safe workplace for their employees and

other relevant persons. There are three steps in HIRARC which are identifiers hazard certainty, risk

assessment, risk control.


C. Findings:
● Define hazard and risk.

i) danger is a cause or a situation that has the potential to cause harm in the form
of injury or bad health to humans and damage to property, damage to the
environment.

● Construct HIRARC in the workplace

● Describe why HIRARC need to be performed

with HIRARC we can identify all identify all factors that can cause danger to workers and other

people and a situation and the resulting effects. HIRARC needs to be implemented in order to

reduce risk in the workplace.


D. Conclusions

i) what I got from all this is to be able to understand the


importance of HIRARC and hazard modifiers that can cause us
to be injured, in addition, to be able to take steps to eliminate or
reduce risk.
