Greetings!

The DILG Davao Oriental will host Dagyaw 2023 with the conduct of the activity
entitled “PANAGBAL’LAW: DAGYAW SA DAVOR 2023 Open Government Town
Hall Meeting” on July 31, 2023 at the Capitol Covered Court, Capitol Hill, City of Mati,
Davao Oriental.

With the theme "Building a Better Government-Citizen Engagement: Quality Public

Participation and Dialogue", Dagyaw 2023 strives to improve trust and confidence
between the People and the Government by providing an open, neutral, and protected
space for dialogue for multiple sectors across society; the town halls serve as an
avenue for citizens to interact with the government to get to know more about and
provide feedback on public programs and services. In light of recent events in our
province, the event is a good opportunity for the public to meet with the newly-installed
Governor Niño Sotero L. Uy and the priorities of his transitioning administration.

The participants for this activity shall be the citizens of this province, particularly the
members of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) within your locality. Hence, we would
like to enjoin your support to the activity by facilitating the participation of five (5)
accredited CSOs in your municipality to each send a maximum of two (2) members to
attend the Dagyaw - a total of ten (10) participants coming from Lupon.
