Guatemala is a country located in Central America, it is relatively small compared to the surrounding

countries. This country is the cradle of the Mayan culture, which is The language spoken is Spanish and
internally there are more than 5 different ethnic groups, of which the Mayan, can be divided much more
depending on the cultural characteristics that are used for their evaluation. The interesting thing about
this country is simply its culture: not only in the Mayan traditions that are normally carried out on
special dates, but also because of the mixture of Mayan and Spanish traditions, carried out in previous
centuries and today celebrated by people from the country and tourists. The greatest tourist attraction
is the nature that is found throughout the country: majestic jungles, beautiful views and certainly,
nature that lives day by day and that is available to everyone.

My impressions of the night were surprisingly exceeded because the interaction with the students and
the Japanese culture is something that I have always wanted to have. Normally in Latin America it is not
very common to find Japanese people to whom the important points of my country can be presented,
and that is very sad. However, seeing how people are interested in a country so far from them fills me
with satisfaction and makes me feel part of a very old and respectable community worldwide. I am also
struck by the love and affection of Japanese people and youth towards new ideas and foreign people,
something that is not normally possible in some countries due to being very conservative. I hope that in
the future I can find youth like.

In this presentation I focus on the search to reach the most important thing in my country: accepting
and learning from others.
