Introduction
Dhul Hijjah is the final month of the Islamic calendar. It is in this
month that Hajj and Eid Al-Adha occur.The first 10 days of Dhul
Hijjah are especially beloved to Allah.

IT WAS NARRATED FROM IBN ‘ABBAS THAT THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (‫ )ﷺ‬SAID:
“THERE ARE NO DAYS DURING WHICH RIGHTEOUS DEEDS ARE MORE BELOVED TO
ALLAH THAN THESE DAYS,” MEANING THE (FIRST) TEN DAYS OF DHUL- HIJJAH.

You might be feeling that you didn't make the most of this past Ramadan.

We put together this little booklet to help guide you through these days
and to serve as an encouragement to perform extra good deeds.

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
It was narrated from Hunaidah
bin Khalid that his wife said: DUAA

"One of the wives of the Prophet DHIKR

said: "The Prophet used to fast on
the day of 'Ashura, nine days of FAJR
Dhul-Hijjah and three days each
DHUHR
month: The first Monday of the
month, and two Thursday." ASR

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2372 MAGHRIB

ISHA
It is considered Sunnah to fast the
first 9 days of Dhul Hijjah.

TOP DUAAS TODAY

If this is too daunting of a task, try
to at least fast the 9th day of Dhul
Hijjah which is the blessed Day of
Arafah when two years of sins can
be forgiven!

Reflect on how you want to spend these blessed days. What do you want to do
more of? What do you want to stay away from?
DAY 2 DATE

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
Hafidh Ibn Hajar (may Allah have
mercy on him) says in Fath al-Bari: DUAA

“The most apparent reason for the DHIKR

ten days of Dhul Hijjah being FAJR

distinguished in excellence is due to
the assembly of the greatest acts of DHUHR
worship in this period, i.e. salawat ASR
(prayers), siyam (fasting), sadaqah
(charity) and the Hajj (pilgrimage). MAGHRIB
In no other periods do these great

deeds combine.”

The greatest acts of worship are TOP DUAAS TODAY

combined in this blessed month. It's
a beautiful time to strive to increase
in your prayers and supplications
and acts of worship.

Reflect on the countless blessings in your life & express gratitude to Allah for His
abundant provisions, guidance, and blessings.

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet
(‫ )ﷺ‬said, “When a third of the night DUAA
remains, Allah Almighty descends to
the lowest heavens, then the gates DHIKR

of heaven are opened, and He FAJR

reaches out, saying: Are there any
asking that might give them what DHUHR
they request? It continues as such ASR
until the rise of dawn.”

‫الَّس َم اِء ُثَّم َيْب ُس ُط َيَدُه َف َي ُق وُل َهْل ِم ْن َس اِئٍل‬
‫ُيْع َط ى ُس ْؤ َلُه َفاَل َيَزاُل َك َذ ِلَك َحَّتى َيْط ُلَع اْلَف ْجُر‬ TOP DUAAS TODAY

opportunity to embrace the tranquility
of the night and experience the
serenity of Tahajjud prayer.

DAY 4 DATE

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
"And ˹remember˺ when Abraham
raised the foundation of the House DUAA
with Ishmael, ˹both praying,˺ “Our
DHIKR
Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. You are
indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing". FAJR

‫َو ِإ ْذ َيْر َف ُع ِإ ْبَٰر ِه ۧـُم ٱْلَق َو اِع َد ِم َن ٱْلَبْي ِت َو ِإ ْس َم ٰـ ِع يُل‬ DHUHR

‫َر َّبَنا َتَق َّب ْل ِم َّنٓا ۖ ِإ َّنَك َأنَت ٱلَّس ِم يُع ٱْلَع ِليُم‬ ASR
Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 127
MAGHRIB

The Ka'aba, originally built by the ISHA

hands of Ibrahim (as) and Ismail (as),
stands as a timeless symbol of unity,
devotion, and divine blessing. It is a
sacred sanctuary that unites hearts TOP DUAAS TODAY
and brings people from all corners of
the world together in worship. Its
presence reminds us of the immense
honor of being part of a global
Ummah.

Reflect on the importance of unity within the Muslim community, and what you can
do to strengthen bonds and foster harmony.

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
"..so they may obtain the benefits ˹in
store˺ for them, and pronounce the DUAA
Name of Allah on appointed days
over the sacrificial animals He has DHIKR

provided for them. So eat from their FAJR

meat and feed the desperately poor."

‫ِّلَي ْش َه ُدو۟ا َم َن ٰـ ِف َع َلُه ْم َو َيْذ ُك ُرو۟ا ٱْس َم ٱلَّلِه ِف ٓى َأَّياٍۢم‬ ASR

‫ِم ْن َه ا َو ْط ِع ُم و۟ا ٱْلَبٓاِئَس ٱْلَف ِق يَر‬ MAGHRIB

Surah Al-Hajj Verse 28

Charity in Islam is not simply an act

of giving, but a profound expression TOP DUAAS TODAY

solidarity. It is a means to purify our
wealth, uplift those in need, and
build a just and caring society.

Reflect on ways you can extend your hands to help those in need, and alleviate
their burdens.

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
When faced with a seemingly
insurmountable challenge, Hajar, the DUAA
mother of Prophet Ismail (AS), ran
DHIKR
between Safa and Marwa in search
of water for her infant son. She FAJR
didn't give up; she persisted, taking
DHUHR
action and relying on Allah's mercy.

ASR
Eventually, her unwavering faith
was rewarded with the miraculous MAGHRIB

well of Zamzam. This story reminds ISHA

us that no matter how dire our
circumstances may seem, we must
never lose hope or cease our efforts.
Through patience, perseverance, TOP DUAAS TODAY
and trust in Allah's guidance, even
the most difficult trials can lead to
blessings beyond our imagination.

Reflect on the concept of absolute trust and reliance on Allah. Remind yourself
that everything is in His control and surrender your worries and anxieties to Him.

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
The rituals of Hajj, including the
symbolic stoning of the pillars and DUAA
the sacrifice of animals, remind us DHIKR
of the importance of sacrificing our
personal desires and ego for the FAJR
sake of Allah. It teaches us to

prioritize acts of worship and
service to others over our own ASR
interests.
MAGHRIB

Hajj serves as a powerful reminder ISHA

of the transient nature of this
worldly life and the ultimate goal of
attaining Jannah (Paradise). It
encourages us to reflect upon our
TOP DUAAS TODAY
purpose in life and to strive for
righteousness and piety.

DAY 8 DATE

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
The first day of Hajj commences.
This day is know as Yawm Al- DUAA
Tarwiyah (The Day of Quenching
Thirst) as the pilgrims are instructed DHIKR

to drink a lot of water and prepare FAJR

for the journey ahead.

DHUHR
The pilgrims start off with a ASR
Welcome Tawaf around the Ka'aba
seven times, followed by sa'iy MAGHRIB
(walking 7 times between the hills
ISHA
of Safa and Marwa), and then make
their way to Mina (~5km away).

‫َو َأِّذن ِفى ٱلَّناِس ِبٱْلَحِّج َيْأُتوَك ِرَجااًۭل َو َع ٰىَل ُكِّل‬ TOP DUAAS TODAY
‫َض اِم ٍۢر َيْأِتيَن ِم ن ُكِّل َف ٍّج َع ِم يٍۢق‬

Call ˹all˺ people to the pilgrimage. They

will come to you on foot and on every lean
camel from every distant path,
Surah Al-Hajj Verse 27

DAY 9 DATE

REMINDER WORSHIP LIST

FASTING
On this day of Dhul Hijjah, the
pilgrims of Hajj travel to the plain of DUAA
Arafah. It is here where they will
DHIKR
spend the day until sunset, in
worship and supplication, seeking FAJR
Allah's forgiveness. This is
considered the peak of Hajj and the DHUHR

most important ritual. ASR

Aisha reported: The Messenger of MAGHRIB

Allah, peace and blessings be upon ISHA
him, said, “There is no day upon
which Allah frees more of His
servants from the Hellfire than the
day of Arafat. He draws near and TOP DUAAS TODAY
then He boasts of them to the
angels, saying: What do these
servants want?”

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1348

Increase your repentance on this day, and make note of changes you want to
make moving forward.
