The Philippines is a country that has been battling many challenges. First, there’s the endless battle
against graft and corruption among some politicians and government officials. Second, there are
natural calamities that constantly bombard the country all year round. These natural calamities come
in different forms such as devastating earthquakes and strong typhoons. Third, there is the battle in
the minds of the Filipino people on how to stay strong amidst all these trials. Some would just give up
hope for this country and choose to migrate to rebuild their lives. Others chose to remain passive and
just accept their fate in this country.
