with long a vowel teams (ai, ay)
2-3 people can play. You will need one die, a game piece for each person, and counters (or small
objects). Roll the die. Move your piece. Read the word you landed on. Take a counter. Keep rolling,
reading, and collecting counters. If you land on a dinosaur, that means that a dinosaur stomped and
shook the ground! You must put all of your counters back. Continue playing until each person has
reached FINISH. Once everyone has reached finish, see who has the most counters left. That
player is the winner! ***Single Player Variation: If you’re playing alone, record how many counters
you have at the end. Then, play again and try to beat your own score!
