STARTING AND ENDING THE TEST

1.Go to https://www.versanttest.com/scorekeeper/take-test
2. You may be asked to enter your Test Identification Number (TIN).
3. Click on "Validate", then follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Select “Web” and click on “Start test”.
5. Carefully complete all the questions in the test.
6. Click “Finish” at the end of the test to make sure your answers are
submitted and scored. To receive your score report, please contact
your test administrator.

STARTING AND ENDING THE TEST

1.Go to https://www.versanttest.com/scorekeeper/take-test
2. You may be asked to enter your Test Identification Number (TIN).
3. Click on "Validate", then follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Select “CDT” and download the CDT client.
5. After download, double click on the desktop icon labeled “CDT client”.
6. Enter your TIN and click “Next”.
7. Carefully complete all the questions in the test.
8. Click “Finish” at the end of the test to make sure your answers are
submitted and scored. To receive your score report, please contact
your test administrator.

Run a system check on the testing computer at versantcheck.com to make sure you
are ready to take a Versant test.

Bandwidth Requirements
A stable internet connection: Recommended speed of 10 Mbps and
minimum 4G mobile data access. Test your connection speed.

Headset Requirements
Wired headset with a boom microphone. We strongly recommend
using the ambient noise cancellation functionality of the microphone.

Support
Any incident that the user experiences with the platform must be
notified directly to soporte@pearson.com, providing the following
information:
• Username
• Platform name (ScoreKeeper)
• Incident description and evidence (e.g., screenshot)

Network security access to allow CdtClient.exe application to access
https://www.VersantTest.com (port 443).

Bandwidth Requirements

Test Administrator
Assign tests

a) Go to the Tests tab, then to the Available


Tests subtab and select the test you wish to
assign; click Assign.

Test and Due date


b) Set the test start and end date and select the
location of the test (type in the country and city,
then select from the dropdown).

Reserve Tests
c) Type in the number of tests you wish to
assign. To add test-takers click Add. Create via
batch upload (Add from file) or one by one
(Add new test-taker) or search by Existing
group or Existing test-takers. After creating or
selecting test-takers click Done to confirm your
selection.
Optional Settings
d) You can opt to edit information regarding:
Assignment Name, Delivery Modality (we
recommend choosing both Web and Desktop
Client CDT), Score scale (GSE, Versant), and
Cut Score (test threshold for passing score).

e) Click Assign to review your assignment


details and select the date when they are sent
to the test takers (i.e., start date). Choose if you
want to Download Assignments (TINs).
Click Assign to assign the test. On the Tests
tab, you will get a green notification confirming
that the assignments were sent.
Test Administrator
Retrieve tests from test-takers

You can remove the tests assigned to test-takers in your institution. This
option is available only for tests with the status Active.

(1) Go to the Tests tab, and then to the Test


assignments subtab. (2) Click on an
assignment ID.

(3) Click more and select Unassign.

(4) A pop-up window will require your


confirmation to unassign the test. By clicking
OK the test will be reclaimed (i.e., returned to
inventory to be able to reassign it).
Test Administrator
Retrieve results

(1) Go to the Tests tab, and then to the Test


assignments subtab. (2) Click on an
assignment ID. Alternatively, you can click more
[A] and select Score reports [B].

(3) Click Score report. You can also select test


taker's name below, click more [C], and select
Score Report [D] from this view.

(4) Select report Language and (5) its Scale. (6)


Filter the list of test-takers (7) and select those
for whom you would like to download score
reports. (8) Decide how you want test takers to
receive the score reports ([E] Generate Score
Report to download and hand them separately,
or [F] Email Test Takers to email them).

(9) The green banner will confirm that your


request was sent. (10) Once the file for
download is ready, you will receive a
notification about it. (11) Click on the
notification and the latest report [G] to
download it. If you decided to send the score
reports to test takers via email directly from
the platform, you will receive the
notification [H]. (12) The downloading will
begin automatically.

Interpreting Score Report

1. Test name, test taker name and surname, test completion date and
Test Identification Number (TIN).
2. Overall score with an overall description of test-taker performance.
3. Intelligibility index score which shows if the test taker's speech was
easy to understand.
4. Diagnostic scores broken into areas of skills.
5. Information useful in interpreting the score report and
understanding the skills (Overall Score, GSE, and Intelligibillity).
6. Current Capabilities of the test taker in areas of skills in detail,
providing: Score for skill, Current capabilities, and Tips to improve.
7. Information on how to understand the skills.
