REPORT ON THE TRANSFORMER T2-60MVA RELAYS

Sequel to the recent tripping of T2-60MVA at Odogunyan TS on earthing transformer ER-2
buchholz relay investigation was conducted on the 9th February, 2022 to determine if the
protective relays on the transformer panel are functioning effectively.

Attached is the fault event record extracted from the relay and test report from secondary
injections test carried out on both primary and secondary overcurrent/arth fault relays.

It is obvious from the test and fault event data that the relays operation are im order for the
transformer.
