    On behalf of the Government and people of Bangladesh, as well as on my own behalf, I


    would like to convey my heartiest congratulations and warmest greetings on your
    appointment as the Secretary General of the ministry of Foreign Affairs and National
    Community Abroad of the government of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Your
    appointment at the helms of affairs of the Foreign Ministry manifests the trust and confidence
    of your government in your proven leadership and vast knowledge.

    Bangladesh and Algeria share traditional bilateral relations which are marked by close
    cooperation and common values. I look forward to working closely with you to further
    strengthen our bilateral relations

    I wish you, Excellency, good health and happiness and the friendly people of the People's
    Democratic Republic of Algeria continued peace, progress and prosperity.
