 Full length Measurement - 24 inches
 Shoulder - 16 inches (16/2 = 8)
 Bust - 36 inches (36/4 = 9
 Waist - 34 inches (34/4 = 8 1/2 + 1 1/2” (1” dart and 1/2 for
ease
 Hips - 38 inches (38/4 = 9 1/2 + 1/2 + 10)
 Apex distance - 8 inches (8/2 = 4”

PROCEDURE:
FRONT PATTERNr
1. Make a perpendicular line. Mark this point A.
2. To get point B, measure 1/2 of armhole measurement which is 9 minus 1/2 inches
3. Extend the line from line B going
down.
4. To get point C get the apex
measurement 10”
5. For the point D get the body length
measurement. 17 inches
6. To get the point E get the full length
measurement, measure from point A
to E which is 24 inches for the full
length.
7. Draw a line from point B,C,D and E
8. To get the neck deep, measure 3
inches form point A to the right
9. From point A get 1/2 of for shoulder
measurement mark this as point
G.
10. From point A go down 1 inch and
mark as point H.
11. Connect point F to H with a diagonal
line.
12. square down from point G
perpendicular to point B and
mark this point I
13. Get the midpoint from H to I and
mark this as point J.
14. From point J measure 3/4 inch
inward to locate point K.
15. Connect point H to point K using the hip curve
16. Connect point K to the side using the French curve.
17. To get point K divide bust measurement 36 into 4, which is 9 inches plus 1 inch. (9
1/2”)
18. To get the waist measurment diviide the waist measurement by 4, plus 1 inch for the
dart and 1/2 inch for ease allowance, mark this point M.
19. Connect L to M using the Hip curve.
20. To get the Hip dimension divide the hip measurement 38 into 4, plus 1/2 inch for
ease allowance. Mark this point N.
Neckline:
21. For the neckline. Make a straight line from point F going down which is 3 1/2
inches.
22. From point A measure 3 1/2 inches down to get point O.
23. From line O make a line to the right perpendicular to line F.
24. Make a line from point A, divide the line into three equal parts.
25. Connect point O to F with curve line using French Curve
26. To locate the dart point divide the appex distance into two (2) and mark it point 1.
27. Sqaure down point 1 perpendicular to line D. mark this as point 2. extend the line
mark this point 3.
28. From point 1 measure 1/2 inch down, mark this as point 4.
29. To get the width of the dart, measure 1/2 inch from point 2 to the left mark this
point 5 and 1/2 inch from point 2 to the right. Mark this as point 6.
30. Connect point 4 to 5, point 5 to 3, and from point to 6 with a diagonal lline. (Darft
for the front Part)
31. To get the underarm dart, measure 2 1/2 inches measurement from point L, mark
this point 7.
32. Connect point 1 to point 7 with a diagonal line.
33. From point 7 raise 3/8 of an inch and from 7 measure 3/8 of an inch down.
34. Connect point 1 to 8 and 9 with a diagonal line.

BACK PART:

1. Use Front pattern as a guide to draft the Baack Pattern of the Blouse
2. From point A measure 3/4 inch down, mark this as point A1
3. Connect point F to A1 with a broken line
using the French Curve
4. Connect point H to point J with curve
broken line
5. Connect point J to point L with a curve
broken line using the French curve.
6. Transfer the lines in point A1, F, H, J, L, 7, 8,
9, M, N, E, D,C,B, O, and A1.
7. Once the lines are already transfer, Mark the
line darker. (neckline, shoulder line, center
line icluding the bust line, waistline, and the
hipline
8. Connect the side using the hip curve, Label
the points. A,F,H, J, L, M, N, E, D, B, A1
9. To locate the dart point, From point A, apply
the shoulder blade hieght mark this point 1.
10. To get the dart dwidth divide the shoulder
blade measurement into 4. Draw a line from
point 1to the right, mark this point 2
11. Sqaure down point 2 perpendicular to D,
mark this point 3
12. Extend the line from point 3, 4 inches
downward. Mark this point 4
13. For the dart width measure 1/2 inch from
point 3 to the left mark this point 5 and 1/2
inch to the right mark this as point 6.
14. Connect point 2, 5, 4 and 2, 6, 4
15. Form point L, measure 3/4 inch down mark this point 7
16. Connect J to 7 with a curve using the French curve. (lower the armhole to fit the side
of the front because it has an under arm dart)

SLEEVE PATTERN:

Upper Arm Girth: - 13

Lower arm girth
Sleeve length

1. Construct a perpendicular line, Mark A as the starting point.

2. From point A measure 4 1/2 inches down to get ppoint B
3. From point A measure 7 1/2 inches down for the sleeve length to get point C.
4. Draw a horizontal line from point A, B, C
5. From point A measure 3/8 inch to right, mark this point D.
6. From point B to E divide the upper arm girth into 2, which is 6 1/2 inches
7. Get the midpoint of the distance between D and E. mark this point F
8. Get the middle point of D and F, mark this point G.
9. Get the middle point of F and E, mark this point H.
10. From point G go up 1/2 inch, mark this point 1,
11. From point H mark 1/2 inch downward, mark this point 2.
12. Connect points D, 1, F with a curve line and F, 2 and E with an inverted curve.
13. From point C divide the upper arm girth into two, which is 6 inches mark this point
I
14. Connect I and E
15. From point F measure 1/4 inch outward mark this pooint 3
16. Connect points 1, 3 and E with a broken lines
(the broken linnes represents the back part and the continous line represent the back
part.)

COLLAR:
Measure the fornt and back neckline of the blouse pattern
1. Construct perpendicular line, mark this A as the starting point
2. From point A measure 8 5/8 inches which is the length of the collar
3. From point B measure 2 1/2 inhes upward to get point C (width of the collar
4. From point C draw a line horizontally.
5. From point C measure 8 5/8 inches which is the measurement of the collar mark this
point D
