MOVING FORWARD CHECKLIST
A. The Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) approved Engineering Degree
B. Register with BEM as Graduate Engineer ASAP upon graduation
C. Find and select Engineering Mentor(s) / Supervisor, P.Eng / CEng with
similar background and experience
(Joining the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) is highly recommended,
Student Member, Graduate Member, etc)
D. Identify suitable project(s) for assessment
E. Meet Mentor(s) / Supervisor regularly to discuss progress
F. Keep good and systematic record keeping, evidence and supporting
documentation
G. Prepare for Professional assessment
