We are pleased to make you a contingent employment offer as Field Engineer in the Austin area. At
Vaughn Construction, we WOW our clients and provide life changing opportunities for our people, while
delivering our projects in a family atmosphere, where our people are proud to work. We look forward to
having you join our team!

Once you have been cleared for employment, we will work with you to determine your location and
project assignment. We make project staffing assignments on a first-come, first-served basis, so please
sign and return this offer letter by 06/03/2023. If you need additional time to consider our offer, please let
me know, and we can adjust the timeline accordingly.

Total Salary & Compensation:

$102,518.50

Salary:

Your annual salary will be $90,000.00. This equates to a bi-weekly salary of $3,461.54. Please note we
are paid every two weeks, and there are 26 pay periods in a calendar year.

Compensation Package:

$12,518.50 per year

Benefits available from your start date:

Company Cell Phone: $1,285.80 per year paid by Vaughn toward your company cell phone

Initial monthly accrual (11 hours) of paid time-off hours
Will total over three weeks of paid time-off annually

Benefits available after successful completion of 30 days of employment:

Medical Insurance: $7,214.04 per year paid by Vaughn toward your medical premiums (Vaughn
contributes an average of 14% above industry benchmark for employee only and 13% above
industry benchmark for family coverage)
Employer-paid benefits including:
Employee Life Insurance: $73.37 per year1 (paid in full by Vaughn for coverage in the
amount of 1x your base annual salary).
Accidental Death & Dismemberment: $27.51 per year2 (paid in full by Vaughn for coverage
in the amount of 1x your base annual salary).
Long-Term Disability: $106.94 per year (coverage paid in full by Vaughn)

This offer is contingent on a pre-employment physical, drug test, background investigation, and
verification of a satisfactory driving record. We will provide additional information about these steps after
we receive your signed offer letter. Pending completion of the employment process, receipt of all the
necessary information, and confirmation of your start date, someone from Human Resources will contact
