The intent of this project is to alleviate the skills, creativity and potentials of SHS Batang Josenians on how they “ Recalibrate the
Outputs and Basic Knowledge in Immersion with the touch of Technology while learning at home in response to COVID-19.”
RATIONALE:
In the advent of modern technology, everything is definitely possible in just one click. In our bare hands, anyone can access to millions
of information within milliseconds on our laptop and cellphone with internet connectivity; However, as our educational system had been
affected by the massive disruption of this pandemic situation, the so-called “Educative Frontliners” or the teachers have to design a method in
SHS Immersion Subject where students will be able to achieve the continuity of the expected outcome while staying at home and will be able
to assure the safety of students’ health. In this lieu, the education is powered by technology as it’s the most used platform nowadays in which
application such as Google Meet, Zoom, Tiktok, Vlogging etc. are indeed a paramount assistance not just to the teachers but to the students as
well.
The conduct of the Immersion subject under the new normal of education is important and must be continued because it improves and
builds new skills. Immersions will have students gain new skill sets and improve their existing capabilities. It is also through immersion that
students get to discover themselves and jumpstart their professional growth. Immersion Teachers must create a plan in which students will be
able to experience and to acquire the required knowledge about the work aligned with their strand as well as making a supervision plan to
assure that the target learning outcome is achieved in a given schedule of activities.
