Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. You wanted me to talk about my
hometown, Dunaszerdahely, so that is what I am going to do.
I’ve been living here my whole life, and I love it here. I often imagine how life would be in
Los Angeles or Switzerland, but honestly I don’t think I could leave my hometown that easily.
People are friendly here, there is a pretty big city centre with supermarkets, restaurants and
coffee shops. Around the city centre there are lots of housing estates, there are a few small
shops near them too, where people can easily get important groceries. Dunaszerdahely is
huge, but still, people easily orientate. In my opinion, the only problem is the overwhelming
traffic and lack of parking places. There should be more roads and parking lots, but on the
other hand, that would destroy the nice green parks and fields.
How about your city? Write back soon and tell me more about it. Has anything changed in the
last couple years?
