EWS - Well-Cap Bore

Monitoring Device.
The EWS Well-Cap presents an all-in one datalogger and transmitter designed specifically to
simplify remote groundwater monitoring. The device is compact, and easy to deploy saving
valuable time in the field. Tested and proven across thousands of installations in the world’s
toughest and most remote environments, the Well-Cap’s robust design and
multicommunication enabled data transmission over satellite ensures near real-time
groundwater data reliably reaches key stakeholders across long-term monitoring campaigns.

Key Features:

Bluetooth connect and configure using free mobile app. Remove

the need for complicated and time-consuming programming in the
field and simply connect over Bluetooth using your smart phone to
set configuration and check your readings.

Connects to all standard sensor outputs.

The device is equipped to be compatible with the most common sensor types on the market
such as SDI12, Modbus 485, 4-20mA, Pulse and Vibrating Wire. Allowing for easy integration
with different brands and across bore networks with various sensor types.

Transmits data over Satellite communications options.

Guaranteed connectivity presents the ability to install anywhere and receive reliable data.
The device is multi-communications enabled and can be ordered with Satellite (Iridium,
Myriota, Swarm) transmitters.

Internal datalogger stores >250,000 points.
The device stores data locally over 250,000 points and can be easily downloaded using mobile
app providing an extra level of contingency in the unlikely event of data transmission failure.

Robust discreet and lockable, glass-filled nylon housing.

The robust and lockable housing removes the traditional requirement for large, oversized
cabinets and solar panels. The tough glass-filled nylon material is very strong, highly UV
resistant and designed to protect the internal device over long time periods.

Flip back lid for easy bore access for calibration dips and groundwater sampling events.
Thoughtfully designed with groundwater monitoring in mind, the housing has a flip back lid
to allow for easy bore access for groundwater pump sampling events and calibration dips.

Fits on any bore size with adaptors available.

The device is designed to fit over standard 50mm or 100mm bores with adaptors available for
any bore size.

Battery pack or solar options.
The device can be powered by external long-life battery pack which provides 5+ years of life
or by integrated and small 2W solar panel for indefinite life span. Its internal rechargeable
lithium provides an additional 6 months backup and alerts can be programmed when the
internal lithium pack is being drawn upon allowing time for maintenance and battery swaps.

Industry Proven and Preferred.

The EWS Well-Cap device has been deployed across 10,000 + remote groundwater bores
globally to provide reliable remote monitoring to a range of large government agencies, world
leading mining companies and well-known engineering firms.

It’s compact size and ease of deployment make the device extremely scalable across large
bore networks and allow the move to digitization of groundwater monitoring easier than
ever before.
