DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF IOT BASED MULTI-PARAMETERS PATIENT
MONITORING SYSTEM. {SMART CARE}

This paper describes the development of a multi-vitals remote patient monitoring system
using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The proposed system is designed to remotely
monitor the vital signs of patients in real-time, providing physicians with critical health
data that can help to detect and respond to potential health issues in a timely manner.
The system incorporates a range of IoT devices, including sensors, gateways, and a
cloud-based platform, which work together to collect, analyse, and transmit patient data
to healthcare providers. The proposed system consists of various sensors collecting, body
temperature, ambient temperature, humidity, and air quality blood pressure, heart rate,
oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate, among others and processing them through the
Arduino Microcontroller.
The system is designed to be user-friendly, with a simple and intuitive interface that
allows healthcare providers too quickly and easily access patient data from any location.
The system is also designed to be scalable, with the ability to support multiple patients
and healthcare providers, making it suitable for use in a variety of settings, including
hospitals, clinics, and at-home care.
The results of this study demonstrate the potential benefits of a multi-vitals remote patient
monitoring system using IoT technology, including improved patient outcomes, reduced
hospital readmissions, and reduced healthcare costs. This system has the potential to
revolutionize the way healthcare is delivered, providing patients with greater access to
care and improving overall health outcomes.
