Please take this letter as an indication of my interest in pursuing a position with No Frills.

I am a recent graduate of the Vancouver Community College where I completed a certificate in the
Retail and Hospitality Program. I am now actively searching for employment where I can utilize the skills
I developed in this program and through my past work experience and education.

I have experience working at Shoppers Drug Mart as a part-time Merchandiser. In this role, I gained
valuable interpersonal skills. I supported the customers by showing them where items were located in
the store, retrieving merchandise from the back, and engaging in general conversations. I believe the
skills I have developed in this role would support me in to engage with both the customers and my team
at No Frills.

I also have experience working at Winners. In this position, I gained organization skills. I re-arranged the
clothing in size order, I maintained the cleanliness of the space, and I faced product to ensure
presentability of the store. I was able to apply these organizational skills into both my education and
subsequent work placements. I hope to use my organizational skills in a future position at No Frills.

While working at both Shoppers Drug Mart, and Winners Department Store, I was a reliable employee. I
demonstrated reliability by always arriving to work on time and taking the initiative with my work tasks.
I made sure to dress appropriately for the job and execute my tasks as directed by my supervisor. I took
the time necessary to complete any job I was given, and I believe my reliability in the workplace is an
asset that I could bring with me to No Frills.

I believe my past education and work experience has prepared me for this role, and I hope you will
