GAME TITLE/NAME/SUBTITLE

CandyLand
Cut the Candies

GAME OVERVIEW
Game Concept (summary description)
Basically this game CANDYLAND is inspired by a very famous game named
FRUIT NINJA. In this game the player will see candies and monsters coming from
the upper side of their screens. According to the game rules the player has to cut
the candies with the knife to score points, but if the player cuts the monster instead,
he’ll lose one life line (that’s a heart). The player will have 3 hearts in total if he
loses 3 of them the game will be over else he’ll just keep on moving to the next
level. There is no such bonus point thing or coins in the game. The difficulty level
will keep on increasing on every level.

Target Audience (who & why?)

The game basically targets players from age group 8-15. People above 15 can play
it too if found interesting to them. The reason it’s mainly targeting people of age
group 8-15 is that it’s a colorful game with candies and monsters that mainly
attracts kids of younger age as they fascinate such things in their young age.
Another reason for why it’s targeting young kids is because this game has all that
they need, fun, graphics, music etc. It’s a best time pass for them during free time
releasing their studies’ stress.

Game Flow Summary (stages+enviroments)

The game will have total 25 stages. The difficulty level will increase as the stages
will increase. First the player will see the home screen of the game which will have
3 options (Play, Instructions and Exit). The play button will take the player to stage
1 and the game will start. In the beginning stages the game will be easy as the
players will have to face very less monsters. But as the game will proceed the
number of monsters will keep increasing that will make it difficult for the player to
cut the candies and ignore the monsters. There will be 3 life lines in every stage but
if the 3 of them are gone the game will be over and will begin from stage 1. And if
the player presses the instructions’ button, he’ll see instructions and rules of the
game. The Exit button is to close the game.

Look & Feel (horizontal/vertical 3d/2D)

The game is designed vertical (portrait). It is basically a 2D game with a colorful
frame, music effects while pressing a button, on background and when game is
over. Below image shows how colorful the game looks.
