A) The surface of the orifice plate holder contacting the orifice plate has a
fine surface finish (honed, lapped, polished or buffed).
B) Rings are defect free and bores for plates are square/smooth.

Venturi minimum straight piping runs meet the dimensions listed in the
PIP-PCCFL001 Table 1 (Attached). Straight minimum piping run lengths
for Venturis are checked as follows:

any plane differs by more than 2% from the mean measured diameter of the pipe. The mean diameter of the pipe where it joins the ASME venturi tube
shall be within 1% of the ASME venturi tube entrance cylinder diameter.
