Assumption and Business rules

1. Residents may make applications but they may not use the room or they are not offered due to some reasons. But the details of the
residents are still kept in the system.
2. A care manager supervises other staff such as personal carers or nurses and rooms.
3. Each room is utilized by one resident only, no matter the room type applied is single room, double room or double room with ensuite.
4. CQAgCare internal staff are limited only to personal carers, nurses and care managers.
5. A room is managed by only one manager.
6. The payment and its way are not recorded in this ER diagram.
7. The repair job can be taken only by external staff who can be handyman, electrician or plumber.
8. The caring staff such as personal carer and nurse are on rotation shift so any staff can be serving any resident so the relationship on which
staff manages which resident is not required.

Note: 1. The attribute property of the room photo/image is not required in Assignment-1 but can be implemented in Assignment-2.
2. If the care types are included as subtypes and the staff as internal and external staff as subtypes of staff then they are acceptable.
3. There may be other business rules and assumptions that can be considered in this study.
