Scalable Analog/Addressable Fire

Alarm Control System
IFP-2100 /RFP-2100
The IFP-2100 (red) and IFP-2100B (black) are intelligent analog/
addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP). The basic IFP-2100
panel contains one built in signaling line circuit (SLC), which can
support 159 IDP/SK sensors and 159 IDP/SK modules or 127 SD
devices per loop. Additional SLC loops can be added using the model
6815 SLC expander for System Sensor devices to increase the overall
point capacity to 2100 or model 5815XL for Hochiki devices to increase
the overall point capacity to a maximum to 2032 points per panel.

IFP-2100 has the interconnection capability for up to 32 panels. The

system has two modes of operation, multiple panels covering one larger
building, or multiple independent buildings. The RFP-2100 (red) or RFP-
2100B (black) can be used in a networked system where at least one IFP-
2100 is in the system. It is the same as the IFP-2100 without the display.
IFP-2100B
IFP-2100 has eight on-board Flexput™ circuits that can be configured
for auxiliary power, notification outputs, or for conventional smoke
detector inputs (Class A or Class B). The FACP also has a Built in
dual phone line digital alarm communicator/transmitter (DACT),
IP or optional cellular technologies, Form C trouble relay, and two
programmable Form C relays. IFP-2100 has powerful features such
as detector sensitivity, day/night thresholds, drift compensation,
pre-trouble maintenance alert, and calibration trouble alert.

The IFP-2100 supports a variety of devices, including RA-

2000, RA-1000 or RA-100 remote annunciator, 5824 serial/
parallel printer interface module (for printing system reports),
RPS-1000 power module, and IDP, SK or SD devices.

RA-1000 / RA-1000R
Remote Annunciator
The RA-1000 is a remote annunciator used to operate and program
IFP-series fire alarm control panels (FACP's). The RA-1000’s keypad and
display match the built-in annunciator of the IFP-1000 control panel.

The remote annunciator connects to the control panel via the RS-485
system bus. When the system is in normal operation and has AC power, the
Power LED is lit and all other LEDs are off. The other LEDs turn on as
alarms, supervisories, troubles, system silenced and AC power losses occur.

INSTALLATION
The RA-1000 can be surface or flush mounted. Use the optional trim ring
for surface mounts. When flush mounting an electrical box is optional. If RA-1000R /RA-1000

COMPATIBILITY
The RA-1000 is compatible with the following Farenhyt Series FACPs:

• IFP-1000/ECS

• IFP-100/ECS

• IFP-300 / IFP-300ECS

Intelligent Bases Standard, Relay, Isolator, Sounder, and Low-Frequency Sounder Bases
General
To meet local code and application requirements, NOTIFIER® offers
standard 4" and 6" bases, as well as, specialty base designs includ-
ing relay, isolator, sounder and low frequency sounder options for
the new 900 Series of addressable detectors as well as previous
generations.
The standard 4" and 6" bases offer a plug-in detector base intended
for use in intelligent systems, with screw terminals identified with a
(+ and –). The 4" base offers a compact design while the 6" base
provides compatibility with a wider range of junction boxes.
B300-6 Standard B200S-WH
The specialty bases support application driven requirements. These 6” Base (White) Sounder Base (White)
bases employ a separate mounting plate that installs on various
junction box sizes to eliminate unsightly surface-mount boxes. The
mounting plate enables pre-wiring of all connections to speed and
simplify installation.
Relay bases provide one form-C contact relay for control of auxiliary
functions, such as door closure and elevator recall. The relay can
operate in two different modes (short and long delay). The activation
time for the short delay is 60-100 milliseconds, while the activation
time for the long delay is 6-10 seconds. A shunt with pin headers,
located on the base PC board, is used to set the delay timing.
Isolator bases allow the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop to operate
under fault conditions created from a short circuit preventing an B501-WHITE Flangeless B501-BL Flangeless
entire communication loop from being disabled. The base isolates 4” Base (White) 4” Base (Black)
the section of the loop containing the short circuit from the remain-
der of the circuit and automatically restores when the fault is cor-
rected. Specifications

IDP-CONTROL
Addressable Notification Module
The IDP-CONTROL is an addressable notification module for use with
Honeywell Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels (FACPs). The IDP-
CONTROL gives you the flexibility to add notification circuits wherever
they are needed on an Farenhyt FACP signaling line circuit (SLC) loop.

The IDP-CONTROL provides supervised monitoring of wiring to load

devices that require an external power supply to operate, such as bells,
horns, and strobes. It is capable of Class B and Class A supervision.

Upon command from the FACP, the IDP-CONTROL will disconnect the
supervision and connect the external power supply across the load device.
The disconnection of the supervision provides a positive indication to the
IDP-CONTROL
panel that the control relay actually turned on. The external power supply
is always relay isolated from the SLC loop, so that a trouble condition
on the power supply will never interfere with the rest of the system.

INSTALLATION
The IDP-CONTROL mounts directly into a 4” square electrical box. The
box must have a minimum depth of 2-1/8”. A surface mount electrical
box (System Sensor® PN SMB500) is available from Honeywell.

COMPATIBILITY
The IDP-CONTROL is compatible with the following Farenhyt Series FACPs:

• IFP-2100 / IFP-2100ECS / RFP-2100

• IFP-2000 / IFP-2000ECS / RPS-2000

IDP-MONITOR-2
Addressable Dual Monitor Module
The IDP-MONITOR-2 is an addressable monitor module with two initiating
circuits for use with Honeywell Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels
(FACPs). The IDP-MONITOR-2 acts as an interface to contact devices,
such as waterflow switches and pull stations.

The IDP-MONITOR-2 supports Class B supervised wiring to the load device.

Conventional 4-wire smoke detectors can be monitored for alarm and
trouble conditions.

Because the IDP-MONITOR-2 is capable of monitoring two separate Class

B circuits, it is ideal for waterflow tamper switch and flow switch monitoring.

Installation
The IDP-MONITOR-2 mounts directly into a 4” square electrical box. The
