How do you arrange words in alphabetical order?

Tune in to Grammar_CB-3.indd 1 7/15/2016 12:02:52 PM

While arranging words in alphabetical order, you must always consider
the following:
• Start by comparing the first letter of the words.
For example: apple, ball, cat, doll, elephant
• In case all the words start with the same letter, take a look at the
second letter in each word.
For example: ball, belt, bin, bun

.

• In case the first two letters of the words are same, take a look at the

third letter to arrange the words in alphabetical order.
