SUBJECT PARTICIPATION OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

(HEIs) FOR THE "2023 PHILIPPINE ROTC GAMES (2023 PRG)
ORIENTATION”

Attached is the Memorandum from ATTY. CINDERELLA FILIPINA S. BENITEZ-JARO,

Executive Director IV, Commission on Higher Education, regarding the participation of
concerned Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for the scheduled series of Philippine ROTC
2023 Clustered Regional Orientations in nine (9) regions to promote the Philippine ROTC
Games 2023 with the theme "Tibay at Galing ay Pagyamanin, Suportahan ang Palarong
ROTC Natin.

The participants to the abovementioned orientation are the Sports Directors/Coordinators,

NSTP Coordinators of Public and Private Higher Education Institutions in Region
MIMAROPA with ROTC programs and their ROTC Unit Commandants. The schedule of
orientation for Region MIMAROPA and CALABARZON is on May 23, 2023, in Cavite State
University, Indang Cavite.

Participants to the said activity need to register through the link

https://bit.ly/PRG2023 Cluster Orientation Reqistration on or before May 15, 2023. Food,
refreshments, and advocacy materials will be provided during the activity. However, the
transportation & accommodation expenses shall be charged against the local funds of the
participating HEls. Officials and employees of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) who
will participate in this activity should obtain prior approval from the President/Head of their
respective institutions. Proper use of government funds in accordance with the Department of
Budget and Management (DBM) National Budget Circular No.563 of 2016 and Budget Circular
No. 2017-5 is enjoined
