Personal Information
Our business is merchandising a type of business that offers a
wide variety of equipment needed by clinics and people in the medical
field. In addition, our business also offers PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment), disposable and non-disposable and other materials
related to the health and medical field. Items can be sold per item or
wholesale.
The ideal target customers of our business are students studying
health and medical related courses and people working in the same
field. Our business is located within Echague Isabela in front of Isabela
State University – Echague Campus to give target customers easy
access to the products and services offered by our business. This idea
started from an aspiring Leader and other colleagues of our team who
experienced a lack of equipment way back. We also took consideration
of the pandemic, where medical supplies are inadequate due to its large
demand. With this experience, our team came up with a business
offering the said products and services.

II. Business Summary

COMPANY HISTORY:
Our company, RX-TREME DEALS, was built in 2020. The idea
for the business came about when the pandemic started because
medical supplies are very important and it is needed that time, such as
personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers and
ventilators for critically ill patients, which are essential for managing
and treating COVID-19 cases. In addition, medical supplies are needed
to prevent the spread of the virus, such as through the use of masks and
hand sanitizer. So we focused on the impact of the pandemic and we
used this as an opportunity to have a business like this because we
noticed a shortage of medical supplies and it highlights the challenges
that the pandemic has presented in terms of ensuring an adequate
supply of necessary medical equipments and supplies.

We decided to start a business that would provide a wide range


of equipment and supplies needed by clinics and people in the medical
field because of our background in the medical industry, our passion
for prioritizing people's health, especially during pandemics, and also
because we wanted to help aspiring students taking health and
medical-related courses by offering high quality and reasonably priced
medical equipment and supplies to them.

In the next years or throughout the years after we started the


business, RX-TREME DEALS continue to operate from small-scale
operation and now to large- scale operation, manufacturing and selling
its products locally but to a lot of branches that our company had. We
created the formulations for our trademark items ourselves, and with a
commitment to excellence and customer pleasure, the company began
to gain market traction.

As the demand for our products grew, RX-TREME DEALS


expanded its operations and distribution network. In 2022, we opened
our first manufacturing facility, allowing us to scale up production and

meet the increasing customer demand. This expansion enabled us to
reach customers across the different towns and cities here in the
Philippines through partnerships with local retailers and online
platforms.

Over the years we have survived and prospered while supplying


home medical equipment and supplies by offering the best products,
services, and care, all provided with kindness and integrity.

Today, RX-TREME DEALS is a recognized company in the


medical supplies market.We have a diverse customer base ranging from
individual consumers to commercial clients. Our products can be found
in major stores and market throughout the Philippines and we also
have a strong online presence through our e-commerce platform.

OWNERSHIP:

A corporation will be the form of business ownership. A


corporation would offer the highest level of protection, as all owners
would have limited liability. The money and other resources of the
proponents will be shared with each other for the gains or losses of the
business venture in which all have engaged. Because of its low
turnover, it is an excellent legal form for a startup firm. It is the most
suitable form of business because of how it is set up and run, as well as
how it is governed and taxed.

The RX-TREME DEALS Business Company will be run by 3


people while the rest will be the one to manage the business. There will
be in charge of recruiting, choosing, and orienting personnel, as well as
submitting legal requirements and providing employee government
benefits. The proponents or owners must be financially prepared to
start a business and educated about managing the business and its
employees.

FACILITIES AND LOCATIONS:

The location of our business for our first medical supplies store,
is at San Fabian, Echague, Isabela, where the Isabela State University
of Echague-Main Campus is located, and where medical courses like
Nursing and soon Medicine is available.

San Fabian, Echague, Isabela will be our main location because


our target market are the nursing students and other allied health
teams of Echague, Isabela who needs to travel to buy medical supplies
which can compromise their budget. With the presence of our store,
Echaguenos will now have an easier access of medical supplies that are
high quality and affordable.

Each of our medical supply store will need approximately 1,500


square feet, with an additional 500-1000 square feet for storage and
etc., , enough space for all of the equipments, supplies, furnitures and
different areas needed in the store. This area will include space for
cashier, space for the medical supplies and equipments. The operating
space will consist of a serving area, room for staffs or employees,
waiting area and a restroom.

In order to catch clients traveling to or from work or school


while they are out for lunch or on a shopping trip, the most profitable
locations that the stores need to be situated are near shopping centers
that are close to medical offices and hospitals, and on busy commuter
routes. Our store will be open every day from Monday to Sunday so that
they can come to buy anytime or any day they want.The area and final
location of each business will have a significant impact on the hours of
operation.

1. Store Manager. The store manager is responsible for
overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business. They are
responsible for managing the staff, ensuring customer
satisfaction, managing inventory, and ensuring the business

Business Logo and it’s Iconic Symbolism

Some of you may wonder why did we chose this concept as our
logo and what does each one of them symbolizes. Green is the color of
nature; it emits a feeling of balance, harmony and growth. It signifies
health, serenity, and tranquility. Red symbolizes energy, passion,
strength, courage, physical activity, creativity, warmth, and security. It
is also associated with aggression. In healing, use red to bring warmth
and burn out disease. The cross is a symbol of protection and a sign
that help is at hand. They are also a sign of hope, and must be
respected. The red cross emblem came into existence more than 150
years ago when the Geneva Conventions adopted it to protect medical
personnel assisting the wounded on the battlefield. The snake figure
was associated with Asclepios, the ancient Greek God of medicine, and
possessed benevolent properties. It was believed to be able to cure a
patient or a wounded person just by touch. The snake is also connected
with pharmacology and antisepsis, as snakes possess an antivenom
against their own poison. We combined this and come up to this
concept.
