I. Business Introduction
Personal Information
Our business is merchandising a type of business that offers a
wide variety of equipment needed by clinics and people in the medical
field. In addition, our business also offers PPE (Personal Protective
Equipment), disposable and non-disposable and other materials
related to the health and medical field. Items can be sold per item or
wholesale.
The ideal target customers of our business are students studying
health and medical related courses and people working in the same
field. Our business is located within Echague Isabela in front of Isabela
State University – Echague Campus to give target customers easy
access to the products and services offered by our business. This idea
started from an aspiring Leader and other colleagues of our team who
experienced a lack of equipment way back. We also took consideration
of the pandemic, where medical supplies are inadequate due to its large
demand. With this experience, our team came up with a business
offering the said products and services.
VISION
Our vision is to ensure that every individual, regardless of their
location or circumstances, has access to high-quality and affordable
medical supplies. We strive to create a world where healthcare
providers can efficiently and effectively meet the needs of their
patients, saving lives and improving overall well-being.
MISSION
At the heart of our mission is a dedication to quality and safety.
We source and deliver medical supplies that meet the highest
standards, ensuring they are reliable, durable, and effective in
improving patient outcomes. We understand that the lives of patients
depend on the reliability of our products, and we strive to never
compromise on their safety or quality.
Affordability is a key pillar of our mission. We firmly believe that
access to essential medical supplies should not be limited by financial
constraints. We constantly seek ways to make healthcare more
affordable for all, offering competitive pricing and cost-effective
solutions without compromising on quality. We actively explore
1
partnerships, innovative procurement methods, and alternative
financing models to ensure that our products remain accessible to
healthcare providers and patients alike. By fulfilling our mission, we
envision a world where healthcare is accessible, affordable, and of the
highest quality for all.
CORE VALUES:
1. Quality. We are committed to providing medical supplies of the
highest quality, meeting stringent standards to ensure their safety,
reliability, and efficacy. We prioritize the well-being and trust of
healthcare professionals and patients by sourcing and delivering
products that consistently meet or exceed industry regulations.
2
GOAL
To Establish a leading medical supply company that provides
high-quality products and exceptional customer service to healthcare
facilities.
OBJECTIVES
1.Ensure Availability. The primary objective of medical supply
management is to ensure the availability of essential medical supplies
when and where they are needed. This involves maintaining an
adequate stock of supplies, monitoring usage patterns, and
implementing effective procurement strategies to prevent shortages.
2. Enhance Patient Care. Medical supplies play a crucial role in
delivering quality patient care. The objective is to provide healthcare
professionals with the necessary tools and resources to diagnose, treat,
and manage patient conditions effectively. This includes ensuring the
availability of medical devices, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and
consumables that meet quality and safety standards.
3. Optimize Cost Efficiency. Managing medical supplies can have a
significant impact on healthcare costs. One objective is to optimize cost
efficiency by minimizing waste, reducing unnecessary variations in
supplies, negotiating favorable contracts with suppliers, and exploring
cost-saving opportunities without compromising patient care or safety.
4. Ensure Safety and Quality. Patient safety is paramount in
medical supply management. The objective is to ensure that all medical
supplies meet regulatory requirements, adhere to safety standards, and
undergo proper quality control checks. This involves working with
reputable suppliers, conducting regular inspections, and implementing
procedures for safe storage, handling, and disposal of supplies.
5. Enhance Emergency Preparedness. Medical supply
management should include provisions for emergency situations or
disasters. The objective is to develop contingency plans and stockpile
essential supplies to ensure readiness for unforeseen events. This may
involve collaborating with emergency response agencies, establishing
communication channels, and maintaining emergency stockpiles or
surge capacity.
6. Improve Supply Chain Efficiency. A well-functioning supply
chain is critical for the timely and efficient delivery of medical supplies.
The objective is to streamline supply chain processes, from
procurement to distribution, to reduce lead times, minimize stockouts
and overstocking, and optimize inventory management. This may
involve implementing technology solutions, such as supply chain
management systems or barcoding systems, to enhance efficiency and
accuracy.

II. Business Summary
COMPANY HISTORY:
Our company, RX-TREME DEALS, was built in 2020. The idea
for the business came about when the pandemic started because
medical supplies are very important and it is needed that time, such as
personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers and
ventilators for critically ill patients, which are essential for managing
and treating COVID-19 cases. In addition, medical supplies are needed
to prevent the spread of the virus, such as through the use of masks and
hand sanitizer. So we focused on the impact of the pandemic and we
used this as an opportunity to have a business like this because we
noticed a shortage of medical supplies and it highlights the challenges
that the pandemic has presented in terms of ensuring an adequate
supply of necessary medical equipments and supplies.

ourselves uniquely in the market.
12
Customer Connection
At Rx-Treme Deals, we believe in building strong and lasting
connections with our customers. By prioritizing their needs and
providing a seamless shopping experience, we aim to establish
ourselves as their trusted partner in medical supplies.
Promotional Strategies
In making RxTreme Deals known to our target customers,
increasing awareness to the company, in its products and services, the
entrepreneurs have prepared an outline of promotional strategies they
13
would be pondering on as they operate the business. This could help
the company to attract new customers, retain current customers and
increase the company's revenue. These promotional strategies aim to
first make customers aware of the products and increase their interest.
Then, to increase desire in target groups and convince them to take
action by making a purchase. To effectively and efficiently market the
products and services of RxTreme Deals, the entrepreneurs have
planned and decided to implement the following strategies:
Traditional:
1. Distribution of Flyers and Pamphlets
An attractive and well designed flyer will be distributed to the
target customers to increase our customer base and create awareness
for Rx-Treme Deals. The entrepreneurs plan to hand the flyers to
people directly, as well as to deliver the flyers in public/community
areas such as nursing or medicine schools where our products and
services are at most needed.
2. Posting of Business Posters
Posting business posters to the different areas in the community
would also increase awareness for the company and would help in
extending the business reach. It has the potential to reach a large
number of consumers with exciting graphics and messaging. This can
make it a good way to establish a strong visual identity for RxTreme
Deals.
Modern:
1. Social Media Advertising
The entrepreneurs plan to create social media accounts and
pages through different social media platforms as their main avenue for
marketing and promotions. It allows the entrepreneurs to promote
their products directly to potential customers and track engagement
with their materials using metrics. They would create contents about
their products and services to increase awareness of the brand and
familiarize the public with the company, Rx-Treme Deals.
2. Paid Advertising
Paid advertising involves paying a domain owner for the
opportunity to promote a product or service. The entrepreneurs plan to
pay distinct web developers or owners to have Rx-Treme Deals featured
and advertised on popular websites or search engines. Specifically, they
intend to have display ads to appear on websites or social media
14
platforms, rather than in search results. When users click these ads,
they usually go to a landing page where they receive a call to action and
get entertained with their inquiries regarding the company in its
product and services.
1. Promotional Merchandise
The entrepreneurs also plan to utilize merchandises to raise
awareness of their brand and create a visual identity. Target
merchandises include clothing, phone cases, tote bags, umbrellas, cups
or mugs, pens or specialty items with the logo or name of the brand
imprinted. The entrepreneurs see this technique as way of giving their
target customers something tangible to remind them of their brand and
can help them raise awareness of the company among their friends and
acquaintances.

Business Logo and it’s Iconic Symbolism
Some of you may wonder why did we chose this concept as our
logo and what does each one of them symbolizes. Green is the color of
nature; it emits a feeling of balance, harmony and growth. It signifies
health, serenity, and tranquility. Red symbolizes energy, passion,
strength, courage, physical activity, creativity, warmth, and security. It
is also associated with aggression. In healing, use red to bring warmth
and burn out disease. The cross is a symbol of protection and a sign
that help is at hand. They are also a sign of hope, and must be
respected. The red cross emblem came into existence more than 150
years ago when the Geneva Conventions adopted it to protect medical
personnel assisting the wounded on the battlefield. The snake figure
was associated with Asclepios, the ancient Greek God of medicine, and
possessed benevolent properties. It was believed to be able to cure a
patient or a wounded person just by touch. The snake is also connected
with pharmacology and antisepsis, as snakes possess an antivenom
against their own poison. We combined this and come up to this
concept.
