TEST CERTIFICATE

We hereby confirm that molded-case circuit-breakers and switch disconnectors (Tmax, Tmax XT, Formula) and
AIR circuit-breakers and switch disconnectors (Emax and Emax2) are tested according to the following plan:

FACTORY ROUTINE TEST FOR CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND SWITCH DISCONNECTORS (ref. IEC
60947-2/3)

Visual inspection:
Materials and construction faultless and fully complying with the order specifications and rules.

Mechanical operation:
At least two close-open and trip-free operations.

Dielectric tests:
At least 3.5 kV (for ACBs) and 2.4 KV (for MCCBs) peak - 50 Hz is applied for not less than 1 sec:
- between each pole and the adjacent pole(s) with the circuit-breaker closed;
- between poles and frame with the circuit breaker closed;
- across the terminals of each pole with the circuit-breaker open.

At least 2 kV peak -50 Hz voltage is applied between the auxiliary circuits (if required) and earthed main circuits.

Verification of the calibration of overcurrent releases (inverse time delay releases) – when applicable:
Tripping time in compliance with provided tripping curves.

Verification of the calibration of overcurrent releases (instantaneous releases) –when applicable:

Non-operation at 80% of tripping current and operation at 120% of tripping current.

Verification of the calibration of overcurrent releases (definite time-delay releases) –when applicable:
Short-time delay (S) protections verification is performed on the individual electronic trip units subassembly prior
to final assembly on the circuit breaker.

 Verification of the calibration of overcurrent releases (earth fault releases):
Ground fault (G) protections verification is performed on the individual electronic trip units subassembly prior to
final assembly on the circuit breaker.

Verification of Undervoltage Release (if required):

Hold-in voltage – the circuit breaker remains closed
Drop out voltage – the circuit breaker opens with an operating voltage within the range 35%...70%.

Verification of Shunt Opening Release (if required):

Opening for a voltage between 70% and 110% of the nominal operating voltage.

Other tests:
All routine tests prescribed by the standard IEC 60947-2/3 have been performed successfully.
