Clinical Practice: Key Responsibilties
1. CLINICAL PRACTICE
1.1 Performs all general radiographic procedures routine and special examinations including MRI and
CT scans and dental radiography.
1.2 Screens patient before MRI procedure.
1.3 Prepares contrast media and check the laboratory reports for creatinine level, allergies and
weight of the patient.
1.4 Schedule patient for procedures and coordinate with the radiologist and other medical staff.
1.5 Explained clearly to the patient the instructions and length of time of the procedure for MRI/ CT
scans and fluoroscopic examination.
1.6 Interprets the orders provided by the physicians or other prescribing medical professional.
1.7 Responsible to demonstrate infection control for the patient, and other staff the risk of acquiring
health care acquired infection and must manage accordingly to a good clinical practice to reduce
the risk of transmission.
1.8 Provides patient with high quality of standard care regardless of its race, color ,and gender
orientation.
1.9 Responsible in maintaining the smooth flow of patients especially in busy hours and deals patient
concerns with outmost professionalism.
1.10 Assure sound knowledge of site RIS and PACS and strictly no sharing of user name and
password.
1.11 Evaluate images for MRI and CT scans and check for image quality and sequences and label
appropriately.
1.12 Trained and assists new radiographers and teach interns about basic radiographic
examination.
2. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 Be aware of the standard protocol and safety applications of radiation protection mandated by
the government and in connection of the policy and procedure of the organization.
2.2 Cooperate with all the audits done by Ministry of Health, Federal Association for Nuclear
Research, Occupational Hazard and Health Management System as well as Joint Commission for
International Accreditation.
2.3 Know and responds all the emergency codes of the hospital.
2.4 Deal patients with respect and dignity regardless of gender, race and sexual orientation.
2.5 Maintains proper conduct and professionalism in dealing with patient and other staffs in the
organization.
2.6 Observes data protection and patient confidentiality at all times
2.7 Performs other duties as required.
