Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal is an amazing specimen of architectural art. It was built by Shah Jahan. After the
death of Mumtaz Mahal, Shah Jahan had decided to build Taj Mahal in her loving memory.It is a
white marvel mausoleum. It shines bright in moonlight. People around the world come to get a
glimpse of this magnificent art of Medieval India.Taj Mahal is widely regarded as a symbol of
love.

Golconda

Golconda fort was built in the 13 th century by the Kakatiyas with mud. It is located 11 kms
from Hyderabad on a hill. The name Golconda means a circular hill. It affords a beautiful view
from the top. It was the capital of the Qutb Shahi Dynasty since th15th century. This is when the
concrete masonry block work was done.

Red Fort

The ‘Red Fort’ is located in Delhi, India. The ‘Red Fort’ was built by the Mughal ruler
Shah Jahan. It has a stone wall around 30 meters high. It was constructed on the right
bank of river Yamuna. The foundation stone of the Red Fort was established in the year
1639 and it took about 9 years to complete its construction.

Charminar
The Charminar is a monument and mosque in Hyderabad, India. The structure
was built in 1591 AD. It is the most famous building of Hyderabad and also one of the
most famous buildings in India. It was built by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shahi to
celebrate the end of a deadly plague.
Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is a high tower in Delhi, India. Qutab-ud-din Aibak built it in 1193. The
height of Qutub Minar is 73m. It is also known as the victory tower as it was built
immediately after the victory over the last Hindu kingdom.
