Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan in Science 1

I. Objectives:
At the end of a 30-minute lesson, the learners should be able to:
A. identify the five sense organs;
B. identify the function of the five sense organs;
C. tell where each organ is located in their body; and
D. identify the sense organ use for sensing different objects.

III. Procedure:
A. Preliminary Activities:
1. Prayer
2. Greetings
3. Checking of Attendance
4. Energizer
5. Setting of Standards

B. Establishing the Purpose of the Lesson:


1. The teacher will show pictures of objects and will ask the learners to
describe their characteristics.
2. The teacher will ask the learners what body part they used to describe the
objects.
3. The teacher will present and state the objectives of the lesson.

C. Discussing New Concepts and Presenting New Skills:


1. The teacher will show pictures of different sense organs and the learners
will tell the name of each.
2. The teacher will tell the function of each sense organ.
3. The learners will give examples of objects where they can use each sense
organ.

E. Making Generalizations
1. The learners will tell what sense organ is used for the given situation.
2. The teacher will sum up the lesson.
