My Personal Evaluation
Instruction: With the given situation below, you are expected to give your own opinion and idea
to answer the guide questions. Work on your own. (5-10 sentences)

1. Work is on your way. Are you prepared to work? Do you have the potential, character, talents,
and skills to take up the vigor of being a worker?
As of now, I will admit honestly that I am not ready to become a professional worker. I still have
a lot of skills to learn or experiences to encounter to become more eligible to enter the
workplace. Being a worker is a such a great responsibility and I don’t want to be a worker with a
few skills with me. I was to excel more in my field and contribute meaningfully that I could help
my company succeed and innovate better ideas for future situations. Being a worker does not
only focus on your duties that is upheld to your current position, it also requires to have great
confidence that you are able to pursue unexpected circumstances that you would take
advantage of to learn and also help others.
2. What should you possess to become a good worker?

One thing that I’m definitely lacking is confidence or social skills. Being in a workplace requires
to communicate with your workmates to achieve the best out of your assigned project, and I
really need to possess social skills to communicate better and deliver what ideas that I think
would suit best for the projects. Also, I need to be good at all, if not, most tasks that would
surround my field of work. As the saying goes “A jack of all trades is a master of none” but it is
actually continued with “but oftentimes better than a master of one.”, and I want to stick or be
inspired of this quote as I don’t want to pressure or stress myself that I am the best of the best
out of one specific skill, but I should be proud or I should achieve that I would be good in most
duties that I’m assigned to.
3. How will you prepare for work immersion?
I will prepare myself for work immersion by putting my mind and heart at ease. I will expect that
there will be so many criticisms or situations that I need to improvise on the spot, so by having
my mind and heart at ease, I won’t be easily moved by my emotions and would only use my
mind to handle the situation professionally. By also maintaining my mind and hearts pace, I can
become more confident which will help me present myself better to my colleagues and boss
that would definitely contribute to first impressions and all throughout the duration of work
immersion. I would also research more about work immersions and the experiences of different
students so that I would be prepared of what’s to come, thus I won’t be easily rattled or
dumbfounded at important times. Most importantly, I believe that work immersion is really just
dedicating your whole self on certain work so I should just enjoy the experiences, learn, apply
and do my best.
