EMCEE SCRIPT FOR STORYTELLING COMPETITION POTENSI PARLIMEN SUBANG 2023

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony would be starting shortly, please take your seats
in a hurry.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here today for Storytelling Competition of Potensi Parlimen Subang
2023.

As a start, now I would like to invite our honourable judges and the timekeeper to take their seats.

First, let me introduce to all of you the judges for today’s competition.

And our timekeeper for this competition is PUAN JUNAIDAH BINTI BUSRO.

RULES ANDREGULATION

Before we proceed further this morning, do allow me to give a brief explanation on this competition.

The competition is open to all TABIKA KEMAS children age from 5 to 6 years. Only ONE boy and girl
contestant will represent Parlimen Subang in Potensi Daerah .

Our competition today is mainly based on prepared stories. Contestant will be given marks as
follows:

1. story content (30%)

2. Creativity Presentation Techniques (20%)
3. Grammar (20%)
4. vocal/voice (15%)
5. Fluency (15%)

All contestants are to observe the following rules:

1. Time is given 5-7 minutes.

2. The first bell ring is the start signals. The second bell ring indicates the time is up.

3. Minimal use of space (participants can only make facial expressions and use body language).

4. The use of electrical equipment is allowed (example: background music) but must not
interfere with the performance. Background props are not allowed.

5. The use of inappropriate language will be deducted 1-3 marks.
