STATS CLASSE S
Each class is weak and strong against other classes. When calculating damage, the
card class of the attacking AXIE is compared to the AXIE class of the defender.
Looking at the diagram, a Bird card used to attack a Beast AXIE will deal 15%
additional damage, while the same Bird card will deal 15% less damage against a
Plant AXIE.
CLASSE S
In addition, when an AXIE of a certain class uses a card from its own class it gets
a 10% attack/shield bonus.
For example, a Plant AXIE playing a plant card will receive 10% extra
attack/shield.
Furthermore, these bonuses stack! A Beast AXIE using a Beast card against a
Plant target will deal 25% (10% + 15%) more damage.

Prioritize target, target enemy - are cards that targets backline axies which shifts the
tide of the game. These cards are prioritizing backlines which allows them to gain
advantage over you.
Example combo:
Bird AXIE casts ‘darkswoop’ and other damage cards to ensure your damage dealer like
beast or aqua dies, for them to gain advantage.
TIP: if dealing with these kinds of AXIE, always check opponents cards to know what cards
and effects they have, and to calculate what damage they are capable of dishing out.

While AXIE battles seem basic at first glance, there’s way more going on under the hood.
After you do your first couple battles you start to wonder how you can do more damage
and keep your tank alive for a few more rounds.
“DAMAGE CALCULATION”
There’s a couple of variables that affect the amount of damage that your AXIES deal each
attack:
Rock, Paper, Scissors / class advantages
Combo attacks
Same Class Attacking Axie & Card
Critical Attacks
Shield counting
R O C K -P A P E R -S C IS S O R S (R P S )
C LA SS A D V A NTA GE
AXIE class advantages are based on the old game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors”.
As said earlier, every class in AXIE Infinity corresponds to a class that gets a 15% damage
bonus against, 15% bonus defense.
The most important thing to note about the “RPS Bonus” is that it is based on the
attacking Skill/Part/Card and the defending AXIE’s body class. The attacking AXIE’s body
class does not play into the RPS bonus, but it will have its affects in latter sections.
Also note that the RPS bonus can work both ways.
COMB O ATTACK S
Combo attacks happen when an AXIE attacks with two or more cards in a round.
Combos will add a little bit of damage based on the skill of the AXIE playing the combo.
The formula for calculating combo damage is: (attack * skill) / 500
For example, an AQUA AXIE plays Beech (plant card) and a BUG AXIE plays Shiitake (plant card).
They would be chained and get a shield bonus of about 5-6%.
On the other hand, there are cards that require chaining to trigger the ability. Therefore, you need
to have to axies with same chain cards for it to trigger.
Any attacks that have the same attacking card class as the body class will get a 10%
bonus.
For example, Imp (110 base damage) on a beast will do 121 damage.
C R IT IC A L A T T A C K S
Critical attacks are a bit random so I won’t cover them in great detail, but you
The higher the morale, the greater the chance to land a critical hit.
If your AXIE is lucky and you generate a critical strike, it will do 200% damage to
2. If it does not, each attack (plus bonuses) will take away corresponding health to
3. If the AXIE has any shield, the attacking AXIE will take away shield first until the
4. Note that there are a few cards that can ignore shield for an attack
5. (doubletalk and stuns) but that would be covered for our advanced guide.

Playing arena is one of the most competitive and fun part of this game.
So with that being said, here are some tips on how to get advantages over your
opponents
Always check opponent cards to know what possible cards they will drop.
Always count energy gains and steal of opponents for you to preemptively
Skipping turns to get specific energy count and card that you need is also a good
strategy.
Example: throwing one card at a dying opponent, while your opponent has a high
shield count to throw. Your card and energy will just be useless.
Make it a habit to read what combos and chain cards you and you’re opponents
Make use of every combo card as possible, combo shifts the tide so ensure to
trigger it.
