Greetings! I am Nambozo Josephine, an Urban Management and Development Master’s
student at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Erasmus
University Rotterdam, Netherlands. Currently, I am conducting my thesis about the influence
of conversion of agricultural land for built environment on food security in Kampala, Uganda.
In view of this, I would like to request for your time and consent for an interview which will
take at least an hour. I assure you that all information and personal details collected from this
interview will remain anonymous, confidential and used exclusively for purposes of this
