I. GETTING DO: Greet the participants. Attendance Sheet 15 minutes
STARTED
SAY: Good afternoon to all of us! Welcome to our
third or last session of the School Learning Action
Cell for this school year. I am Jerald A. Porbido,
your today’s facilitator and Ma’am Rosally M.
Lita, will be our session’s documenter. Everybody
please be ready and I am hoping that you did your
assignment.

Do: Checking of attendance

Say: Let us check first our attendance, here is your


attendance sheet, kindly sign it.

Do: Review of the previous agreement

Say: Last session, we have our agreement that


today, January 23, 2020, 3:00 PM in this room will
be our third or last LAC session. It seems that
everyone is present today, so thank you for your
cooperation.

SMALL Do: Introduce the LAC topic for today. Pen and Paper 15 Minutes
GROUP
DISCUSSION SAY: Our topic for today is “The Art of
Questioning”. Let us start our session through a
small group discussion. Please group yourselves
into four according to grade level you are handling.

Please be reminded that the allotted time for this


activity will only be 25 minutes. Be sure that
everyone will participate. Encourage everyone to
share your thoughts, ideas, learnings and
experiences in Art of Questioning. Then choose
your representative to present your consolidated
data.

Do: Proceed to the groupings of participants.

Say: Here are the guide questions you are going to


discuss within your group:
1. What are your experiences when you are
asking questions from your learners
regarding your lesson?
2. How do you encourage your learners to
answer your questions?
3. What are your ways in asking questions?
4. What is the importance of doing the art of
questioning?

BIG GROUP or Say: Time is up. We will now proceed to the big 40-45
PLENARY group discussion. This time, you will share what Minutes
you have discussed among your groupmates.

Do: Participants present the result of their small


group discussion

SAY: Thank you for everyone’s effort and


participation. Let us keep in mind that what we
have shared today may be applied in our teaching-
learning activity. This LAC session was conducted
to improve our teaching-learning process.

Before we end, I have one question which is


related to our topic.
 What can you say about a teacher who asks
questions to embarrass, humiliate, or to
catch a student?
