Method
Almost everything is worked in continuous rounds without closing unless otherwise

noted. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each row to help you keep your
place.
Head
Start by making a magic loop with Colour A.
Rnd 1 : Crochet 6 sc in magic loop, pull yarn end to close

Rnd 2 : 2 sc in each st around, 6 times (12)
Rnd 3 : 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, 6 times (18)
Rnd 4 : 1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, 6 times (24)
Rnd 11-13 : Sc in all sts around (60)
Rnd 14 : 1 sc in next 22 sts. Make a nose in the next st.
* YOH, insert hook in the next st, YOH and draw up a loop, YOH
and draw through 2 loops on the hook *, repeat from * 4 more
times, YOH and draw through all 6 loops on hook. The nose will
consist of 5 dc's. 1 sc in next 37 sts

Rnd 19 : 1 sc in next 8 sts, sc2tog, 6 times (54)
Attach safety eyes. The safety eyes come between round 11 and 12 with a gap of seven
stitches. Make sure the eyes are well distributed over the nose. You can measure out in
advance with 2 head pins.

Finish with a slip stitch and fasten off. Finish off with enough thread tail for sewing
the body to the head. Stuff head firmly.
Body
Start by making a magic loop with Colour B.

Work the next 2 rounds in the back loops only.
Rnd 13 : Sc in all sts around (42)

Toer 14 : Change to Colour C, Sc in all sts around (42)
The front loops you left unworked will be used for attaching the skirt.

Rnd 26 : Change to Colour D, sc all the way around (24)
Rnd 27 : Change to Colour A, sc all the way around
in the back loops only (24)
The front loops you left unworked will be used for attaching the
white collar

Rnd 30-31 : Sc in all sts around (18}
Rnd 32 : 1 sc in next 5 sts, sl st to the next st and fasten off (this way
you finish off at the back of the body).

Skirt
The skirt consists of 2 parts. A crochet pointed pink skirt and a tulle underskirt.
The tulle skirt will be attached after crocheting the legs.
Pointed pink skirt

Hold the body upside down and start with colour B in the fifth loop of row 14. Picking up
the loops is easier if the lower body is pushed inward.
Fifth loop
Rnd 1 : 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st,

1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, 4 times,
1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st,
1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, 4 times (52)
Start working at the first point of the skirt

Rnd 2 : 1 sc in next 12 sts
Rnd 3 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 8 sts, sc2tog (10)
Rnd 7 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, sc2tog (2)
Rnd 8 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog (1). Fasten off.

Start working at the second point of the skirt in the second stitch from the first point.
Second stitch
Crochet the second point according to the explanations for the first point. Repeat two
more times.
Don’t fasten off at the fourth point. Continue to crochet sc all around. Crochet in every
point 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Repeat this round one more time. Close round with sl st and
fasten off.
Fill the body firmly with synthetic filling and sew the head to the body.

Arm (2x)

Rnd 6 : 1 sc in next 7 sts, 1 bobble stitch with 5 dc (see the
explanation of the nose), 1 sc in next 7 sts
Rnd 9 : Sc in all sts around (9), Change to Colour B
Rnd 10 : Sc in all sts around (9),
Rnd 11 : Sc all the way around in the back loops only (9)
Stuff the arm with synthetic filling and keep filling as you go further along the arm.
Stuff the last piece of the arm slightly.

Rnd 26 : 1 sc in next 5 sts, change to Colour D, 1 sc in next 4 sts (9)
Rnd 27 : Left arm
1 sc in next 5 sts, change to Colour A, 1 sc in next 4 sts in the
back loops only. The front loops you left unworked will be used for
attaching the white collar
Right arm
1 sc in next 5 sts, change to Colour A, 1 sc in next 4 sts (9)
Toer 28 : Left arm
Push the rounds of the arm together creating a line and crochet
over the opening
Right arm
1 sc in next 5 sts in the back loops only. Push the rounds of the
arm together creating a line and crochet over the opening
Fasten off leaving enough thread to sew the arm to the body.

Finishing the arm

The sleeve is finished with a slip stitch. Start with colour B in the last loop of round 11
work a row of slip stitches around and fasten off.
Repeat the pattern to make another arm. Sew the arms to the body. Make sure the
thumbs are pointing forward and the white edge in the arm is at the same height as
compared to the white edge of the body.
Collar
Start with Colour D in loop 4 of round 28. This is at the back of the body.
Rnd 1 : 1 sl st in first loop, 1 sc in next 4 loops,

Continue with the loops on the sleeve,
1 sc in next loop, 2 sc in next loop, 1 sc in next 2 loops
Continue with the loops on the body,
1 sc in next 4 loops, 1 sl st in next loop, 1 sc in next 4 loops
Continue with the loops on the sleeve,
1 sc in next 2 loops, 2 sc in next loop, 1 sc in next loop

Hair (part 1)
Start by making a magic loop with Colour E.

Rnd 19 : Working in rows turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 20 sts,
sc2tog (22), 30 stitches will remain from round 18
Continue to crochet sc all around. Close round with sl st and
fasten off.
Finishing the hair

Place the hair on the head and mark the hair into place with the pins. Take the hair off
again and spread some fabric glue to the inside of the hair. Place the hair back over the
marked area of the head.
Finishing the head

The doll is now ready for the face to be made. For the mouth with the deep pink
embroidery thread, make the mouth in 3 stitches.

With the black embroidery thread, the eyebrows are made. Split the embroidery
thread into 4 strands, the eyebrows consist of 1 stitch.
Apply a little blush to the cheeks using a bees wax crayon dabbed onto a small piece of
soft fabric.
Leg (2x)
Rnd 1 : Crochet 6 sc in magic loop, pull yarn end to close (6)

Rnd 13 : Working in rows turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 9 sts,
sc2tog (11), 5 stitches will remain from round 12
Rnd 14 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 7 sts, sc2tog ( 9)
Rnd 17 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next st, sc2tog (3)
Rnd 18 : Turn work, continue to crochet sc in the round, starting at the
corner of the heel, 1 sc in next 3 sts, 1 sc in next 5 sts (the side),
1 sc in next 5 sts (the front), 1 sc in next 5 sts (the side) (18)
Rnd 19 : 1 sc in next st, sc2tog, 6 times (12)

Start stuffing the leg with synthetic filling after round 24 and keep filling the leg while
crocheting further. Stuff the last piece of the leg slightly
Rnd 45 : Push the rounds of the leg together creating a line and crochet
over the opening
Tie off and leave enough thread to attach the leg to the body.
Now it’s time to attach the tulle skirt to the body. This will be done before sewing the
legs to the body.
Tulle skirt
Fold tulle in lengthwise double. Iron the fold. Open the fold and gather the tulle on the
fold. Fold tulle in lengthwise double and pin the tulle skirt around round 13 to the body.
Use the loops of round 13 to sew the tulle skirt to the body.
Now all you have left to do is trim the tulle as short as you'd like.

Attach both legs to the body. Attach the legs slightly forward so that the doll can sit.

Shoe (2x)
Use Colour C, ch 12.
Rnd 1 : 3 dc in third ch from hook, in each subsequent ch 1 dc (8 x),

5 dc in last ch, in each subsequent ch 1 dc along the other side of
the chain (8 x), 2 dc in last ch, sl st in first dc of previous
round (26)
Rnd 2 : ch 2, 1 dc in first st of previous round, 2 dc in next st (2x), 1 dc in

each of the next 8 sts, 2 dc in next st (5x), 1 dc in each of the
next 8 sts, 2 dc in next st (2x), 1 dc, sl st in first st of previous

Rnd 3 : ch 1, 1 sc in first st of previous round, 1 sc in each of the next

Fasten off. Sew the shoes with some stitches down to the foot.

Hair (Part 2)
Use Colour E, ch 32. Crochet 3 dc in third ch from hook, 3 dc into the next chain and in
each chain remaining. It should start curling after the first few chains.
Note: Insert hook under two loops for a loose curly cue. Insert hook in the top loop for
a tight curly cue. Chain 42 for a tight curly cue.

Make 16 curly cues. Make 2 bunches of 8 curly cues. Tie the curly cues together

Use pins to place and position the curly cues on the head nicely. Then sew onto the
head, check that the curly cues are stitched firmly.
For the bow take a piece of pink satin ribbon 1,5 cm wide and about 11 cm long. Fold
each ribbon end inward to the center and use double sided tape or fabric glue to attach
the ends of the ribbon in the center. Pinch the center of the bow and wrap pink thread
around the center. Fold a strip of pink satin ribbon, about 3 cm long, in lengthwise
double. Place this in the center and fold the ends over to the back. Use double sided
tape or fabric glue to attach the ends at the back. Attach bow on top of the head. You
can sew the bow with some stitches to the head for extra security.
