Method
Head
Attach safety eyes. The safety eyes come between round 11 and 12 with a gap of seven
stitches. Make sure the eyes are well distributed over the nose. You can measure out in
advance with 2 head pins.

Finish with a slip stitch and fasten off. Finish off with enough thread tail for sewing
the body to the head. Stuff head firmly.
Body

The front loops you left unworked will be used for attaching the skirt.
Skirt
The skirt consists of 2 parts. A crochet pointed pink skirt and a tulle underskirt.
The tulle skirt will be attached after crocheting the legs.
Fifth loop

Start working at the second point of the skirt in the second stitch from the first point.
Second stitch
Crochet the second point according to the explanations for the first point. Repeat two
more times.
Don’t fasten off at the fourth point. Continue to crochet sc all around. Crochet in every
point 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc. Repeat this round one more time. Close round with sl st and
fasten off.
Fill the body firmly with synthetic filling and sew the head to the body.

Arm (2x)
Stuff the arm with synthetic filling and keep filling as you go further along the arm.
Stuff the last piece of the arm slightly.
Fasten off leaving enough thread to sew the arm to the body.
Right arm

Repeat the pattern to make another arm. Sew the arms to the body. Make sure the
thumbs are pointing forward and the white edge in the arm is at the same height as
compared to the white edge of the body.
Collar
Start with Colour D in loop 4 of round 28. This is at the back of the body.

With the black embroidery thread, the eyebrows are made. Split the embroidery
thread into 4 strands, the eyebrows consist of 1 stitch.
Apply a little blush to the cheeks using a bees wax crayon dabbed onto a small piece of
soft fabric.

Rnd 13 : Working in rows turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 9 sts,
sc2tog (11), 5 stitches will remain from round 12
Rnd 14 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 7 sts, sc2tog ( 9)
Rnd 15 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog ( 7)
Rnd 16 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog ( 5)
Rnd 17 : Turn work and chain 1, sc2tog, 1 sc in next st, sc2tog (3)
Rnd 18 : Turn work, continue to crochet sc in the round, starting at the
corner of the heel, 1 sc in next 3 sts, 1 sc in next 5 sts (the side),
1 sc in next 5 sts (the front), 1 sc in next 5 sts (the side) (18)
Start stuffing the leg with synthetic filling after round 24 and keep filling the leg while
crocheting further. Stuff the last piece of the leg slightly
Rnd 45 : Push the rounds of the leg together creating a line and crochet
over the opening
Tie off and leave enough thread to attach the leg to the body.
Now it’s time to attach the tulle skirt to the body. This will be done before sewing the
legs to the body.
Tulle skirt
Fold tulle in lengthwise double. Iron the fold. Open the fold and gather the tulle on the
fold. Fold tulle in lengthwise double and pin the tulle skirt around round 13 to the body.
Use the loops of round 13 to sew the tulle skirt to the body.
Now all you have left to do is trim the tulle as short as you'd like.

Attach both legs to the body. Attach the legs slightly forward so that the doll can sit.

Fasten off. Sew the shoes with some stitches down to the foot.

Hair (Part 2)
Use Colour E, ch 32. Crochet 3 dc in third ch from hook, 3 dc into the next chain and in
each chain remaining. It should start curling after the first few chains.
Note: Insert hook under two loops for a loose curly cue. Insert hook in the top loop for
a tight curly cue. Chain 42 for a tight curly cue.
Make 16 curly cues. Make 2 bunches of 8 curly cues. Tie the curly cues together

Use pins to place and position the curly cues on the head nicely. Then sew onto the
head, check that the curly cues are stitched firmly.
For the bow take a piece of pink satin ribbon 1,5 cm wide and about 11 cm long. Fold
each ribbon end inward to the center and use double sided tape or fabric glue to attach
the ends of the ribbon in the center. Pinch the center of the bow and wrap pink thread
around the center. Fold a strip of pink satin ribbon, about 3 cm long, in lengthwise
double. Place this in the center and fold the ends over to the back. Use double sided
tape or fabric glue to attach the ends at the back. Attach bow on top of the head. You
can sew the bow with some stitches to the head for extra security.
