 Develop a proper entrance to MTR mall, reference


should be made to the successful experience in
Maritime Square 1
 Construct a new integrated entrance with
– Mini concourse
– Structural modifications for new vertical links including internal lift, staircase and 
escalator

 Comply with relevant guidelines, codes of practice and


statutory regulations (i.e. MTR’s New Works Design
Standards Manual, Barrier Free Access, etc.)
 Station shall remain fully operational throughout the
implementation stages

– Diversion of the cable containment and associated cables should be carried out 
before the new escalator's installation. In order to maintain continuous operation, 
the new cable containment and associated cables should be ready before

change‐over can be carried out during non‐traffic hour.

contractor

• The Contractor shall provide new power supply for new station signage as shown on 
the Drawings to suit the station signage requirement. The works shall include power 
& control cables, cable junction boxes, fuse spur units, MCB boards, MCBs, cable 
terminals, control panels, relay boxes, cable containment and all necessary 
accessories for each signage.
