Overview:

SAP Production Planning (PP) handles the scheduling and actual production of supplies in the
company. This includes shop floor operations, scheduling, MRP, execution and monitoring of all
production activities. The PP module of SAP takes care of Master data needed like Bill of Materials
(BOMs), Routing and Work Centers and stores it in one separate component.
