- Process of employing, training, compensating people, developing policies relating to
them, and developing strategies to retain them.

2. Explain two (2) competitive challenges that most organizations are facing today.
- Globalization. It empowers businesses to find less expensive methods of producing their
goods. Additionally, it heightens international competition, which lowers costs and gives
customers a wider range of options. Next, the cost of containment. Cost minimization can
guarantee or boost profitability without creating excessive hardship for individuals doing
the work. Cost containment is a proactive strategy that helps keep spending in check
rather than waiting for expenses or profits to become an issue.
