Fay gave me a copy of this table some time ago and I have found it invaluable. Hope it
helps all the Passap People out there.

TENSION MAST TENSIONS (approximate)

2 ply = 5.5

3 ply = 5

4 ply = 4

TENSION SWATCHES (approximate)

2 PLY: 9st & 12 to 13R = 1" or 2.5cm

100st = 11 to 11.5 " or 28 to 29cm

100R = 7.5" or 19cm

3PLY: 8st & 11 to 12R = 1" or 2.5cm

100st = 12.5" or 32cm

100R = 8 to 9" or 20.5 to 23cm

4 PLY: 7 to 7.5st & 10 to 11R = 1" or 2.5cm

100st = 13.5 to 14" or 34 to 35.5cm

100R = 9 to 10" or 23 to 25.5cm

Duo 5 = 1/2 stitch size lower

1:1 settings = racking handle up

K:K settings = racking handle down

single bed fabric & CX = use black strippers

you ever had real problems working out what to use instead of the yarn
suggested in magazine articles? Or, in converting hand knitting to machine
knitting?
Well, the following charts will help you work it all out! One of the following, or
