2 You can find the Austrian crown jewels at the Hofburg Palace. The
Hofburg Palace is in Vienna. It’s easy to get there by underground
train – the nearest underground station is Stephansplatz.
You can visit the crown jewels from ten o’clock to six o’clock
from Wednesday to Monday. The Hofburg Palace is closed on
Tuedays.
You can see the crown jewels in the Treasury. There are many
different crowns, famous swords, and important jewels from the
Austrian Imperial family’s past there. The most famous crown is
the Crown of Rudolph II. It is gold, and it has a very big emerald,
eight diamonds, many rubies and sapphires, a large pearl from
Panama, and smaller pearls from Persia in it.

Arthur went down the stairs and then he climbed through the
window. He went down the stable lane to the tree. There he
fought Burnwell for the crown. Then he came back up the lane,
climbed through the window again and went up the stairs.
Burnwell came up the stable lane, past the street light, round the
flower bed and up to the window. There he took the crown from
Mary. He went down the stable lane to the tree. There Arthur
fought him and took most of the crown back from him. After that,
Burnwell went away down the lane again.
