PROJECT PROPOSAL

Project Title: SMOOTH PERIOD

Project Proponents: This project is headed by the College of Engineering Student Council.
Location: Central Mindanao University, College of Engineering Grounds, Maramag, Bukidnon.
Project Type: SOCIAL
Project Description:
In pursuit of creating an inclusive and supportive environment, we propose a project aimed at providing comfort
and convenience to women facing unexpected menstruation at our engineering facility. We recognize that menstruation
can be an unpredictable occurrence and understand the challenges women may encounter, especially when stores selling
menstrual pads are distant. To address this concern, we aim to make the College of Engineering a women-friendly space by
offering readily accessible menstrual care products.
Objectives: The SMOOTH PERIOD shall:
1. Promote a supportive atmosphere that addresses the immediate needs of
female employees and visitors, fostering a more inclusive work environment.
2. Conduct public relations campaigns. These communication efforts will aim to
raise awareness of the program and its importance in fostering the immediate
needs of female students, faculty, and visitors, in the College of Engineering.
3. Offer Free menstrual care products at the Student Council Office.
Target Beneficiaries:
Student Body
Faculty and Employees
