you remain positive while working even if there are many problems occurring, how can
you be happy?
I-1 Masaya ako dahil ,pano ba? (..) Dahil may trabaho, nakakakapaglinis ako ng maayos kahit
maraming problema, (eyes frowns) hindi ko dinadala yung problema ko ditto sa trabaho.

I am happy, like how? (..) Because I have a job, I can clean correctly even if I have many
problems, (eyes frowns) I am not bringing my problem here in my job.

I-1 Uhm (.) wala naman (..) Problema lang ditto yung pag may check out (hands points to the

What is your worst struggle that you are commonly facing here?
I-1 Cr ( laughs) tapos merun yung mga mababasag na gamit. Yan ang problema namin.

Our co-workers (.) yes, in break time we tell stories, rest a little and work again, music

you be happy (.) how are you motivated in this job of yours?
I-2 Kasi pag mahal mo talaga ang trabaho mo hindi mo maiisip na ano (.. )na mag anong (..)
anoba un? (laughs) Kaya kahit anong trabaho mo pag mahal mo walang problema

So if you really love your job, you will not think that (..) to (..) what’s that? (laughs) so
whatever job you has, there is no problem (shoulders go up)

I-2 Sa mga taong ano (..) sa mga taong tumutulong sayo tapos nag titiwala (points hand to the
interviewer) kung hanggang saan kasi (.) binigay mo naman ang best mo eh (.) para mag

 So uhm (..) so to us (..) because this might also be our job in the future (..) for we are
studying housekeeping also, what can you sau to us? What can you advice us to enjoy
housekeeping?
I-2 Uhm (.)ano lang (.) tyaga lang (.) sipag (.) tiwala sa sarili (.) para makayanan nyo lahat ang

Uhm (.) only what (.) be persevere (.) be industrious (.) believe in yourself (.) for you to be

you satisfied into your customers, like on your work (.) what ways?
I-2 Nasasatisfied ako kasi wala namang nag co-complain (laughs) oo wala namang nag
cocomplain ganito ganyan puro positive (.) syempre nu inaramid mo amin ginawa mo lahat
walang ano (..) kaya happy ako sa mga nagiging labas ng trabaho ko (slowly claps hands)

I am satisfied because no one complains (laughs) yes no one complains like this like that,
always positive (.) ofcourse if you did everything no (..) that is why I am happy to the
product of my work (..)

So auntie what are the discrimination, what are the things that makes your mood go down,
that makes you be bad mood on what happend
I-2 Sa mga ano lang (..) syemempre di maiwasan na madiscriminate ako (left hand points to
herself) sa trabaho pero kung sa about sa trabaho siguro pag may guest na nagcomplain
makulit tapos ah ung hindi satisfied kung malinis ang trabaho (both hands raise)

In what only (..)ofcourse you cannot avoid to be discriminated (left hand points to herself)
in your work, but if it is about your job I think if there is a complaining guest who is
naughty and is not satisfied if your work is clean (both hands raise)
Interviewer Auntie mag sa bi ka po ng isang experience mo ditto na talagang sobrang nag motivate sau,
nagpasaya sayo?

Auntie can you give one experience here that really motivated and make you happy?
I-2 Ung pinuri ako ng amo ko (laugh) pinuri nya ako kahit ano (..)kahit alam mong hindi okay
 sayo pero un pala malaki ang impact sakanila namalinis, maganda ganun parang (.) hindi
akala mo hindi mo nagawa un pala malaki pala ang impact sakanila, kaya nag papasalamat
ako sakanila. (shoulders go up)

When my boss praise me (laughs) my boss praised me even if (..) even if you know that it is
not okay to you but it hav ea big impact to them that it is clean, it is nice like (.) you
thought you was not able to do it but it have a big impact to the, that is why I thank them.

Interviewer uhm so parang na momotivate din ba kau nila auntie? Nagiging motivation nyo rin sila?

Uhm so is it like they motivate you? Are they becoming your motuivation?
I-2 oo naman (..) kasi lahat naman ng anak pag ganun diba pag maganda din naman ng
magulang di maganda din ang turing sayo (points hand to the interviewer) kaya nag
papasalamat din ako kasi iniisip din nila mahirap ang dinaranas naming mga magulang (.)
Nag sisikap din para makapag aral (.) sa awa ng Diyos First honor (laughs)

Yes, ofcourse (..) because all child, if the parents were treated well then they treat you
wellc (points hand to the interviewer) that is why I am thankful because they are thinking,
what we, the parents, are going through (.) they are doing their best in studying (.) God’s

Interviewer uhm (.) so ano po,ano naman po ung mga rason kahit may mga nasabi na kayo, ano pa
yung rason kung bakit kayo nag papasaya dito. Ano ba ung mga ibang mga rason?

I-2 talagang masaya ako sa trabaho ko kasi ito ang gusto ko ito talaga ang trabaho (.) kasi lahat
naman kasi lahat ng trabaho kelangan ano mahalin, (put hand to her heart) isang bagay lang
naman ang ano,kung ayaw mo kasi ang isang trabaho wala talagang ano(..)walang asenso
sa sarili ngay (..) kaya mas maganda talagang Mahalin mo talaga ang trabaho mo para hindi
mo ano (..)

I am truly happy about my job because this is what I like, this is the job (.) because every
job is need to be loved (put hand to the heart) it is only one thing that you do not like (..)
you will not succeed (..) so it is really good for you to love your job
Interviewer so except auntie sa mahal nyo ang work na to, may madadagdag dag pa po kayong iba?
 Auntie, except loving your job, do you hav something to add more?
I-2 masaya kasi lahat ng co worker (..) ,sila din lang ang nag momotivate.wala namang
problema kasi mas(.)kasi friendly(..)mamomotivate kayo mitlng.

It is happy because all of my co-workers (..) they motivate me, there is no problem because
(.) because they are friendly (..) you will also be motivated
Interviewer so talagang auntie masaya (..) ano (..) masaya (.) tapos pati po ba ung paligid nyo?

So it is really happy (..) does your surrounding makes you happy also?
I-2 isa pa ano (.) ung klima diba? (.) parang kahit maraming trabaho,chill parin (smiles a lot)

your job? How can you say that your job is exciting?
I-11 Well I remain positive about my job (..) kasi (because)(.)of my family, I need to work for
them (points hand to the left) if I will not work they will not eat
I-12 The same (laughs) pamilya rin(family also) because they are my priority, (..) sila lang
iniisip ko(They are the only one I am thinking) they make me happy (..) that is why I am
positive
I-13 Family too, dahi linspirasyon ko sila(because they are my inspiration) they are the reason

I-11 Uhm (..) (scratches head) when your guest says something good about you, when the
guests are satisfied with your work (.) satisfy ka rin(you are also satisfied)
I-12 Also the same (..) because your guests is also your boss (.) and they give compliment
because of your good work (points hand to the interviewer) you will be satisfied (..)
because you feel happy
