Project Name: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibor

Rahman Novo-theatre, Dhaka

Concept: The Planetarium dome simulates Earth

and its cool blue sky. The curved ceiling represents
the sky and shows moving images of planets and
stars through projection onto a large-screen dome at
an angle of 120 degrees.

There are some glass door use in novo theatre which are 10mm
thickness & Pyramid window on rooftop.
Installing of glass door there are few Advantage and
Disadvantage which are:

ii. It is Easy to Clean, ii. Need for an Insulator,
iii. Easily Customizable, iii. Security Issues.
iv. They increase Visual
Openness.

Beside glass door there also use some wooden door which are
Barmatik Door but not Seasoning that’s why in some place is damp,
but they can also use PVC door instead of wooden door it will
more cost friendly and durable,

After entry inside the theatre we see a big space which is PVC
flooring upon a wooden texture which is good because of PVC it
will more durable & water-resistant.

Out side of the Theatre we see a big open space which is full
covered by Burnt First-class bricks, and there also planter box,
Stairs & pavement which is also by Burnt First-class bricks.

In this theatre steel play a major role on structure. Its Planetarium
dome simulates Earth and its cool blue sky. Which is made of Mild
Steel. And also there others structure's which is made stainless steel
such as handle of stair.

Tile improves theater maintenance & design. Creating comfort
throughout the theater begins with the creation of cleanliness in the
areas that need it most — the lobby, concessions stands and
restrooms. Nothing spoils an experience at the movies like an
unkept lobby, dirty restroom, or grubby concessions stand. Ceramic
tile’s features are star-studded—stain resistant, easy to clean and
equally easy to disinfect, plus slip and fire resistant safety
features. In This theatre we see many variety of tiles such as glossy
tiles in side showcasing area, matte finish tiles in entry lobby.

Light play an important role in this theatre they have used many
kind of light such as LED lights for walkway and other outdoor
area lighting, T5 lights T5 lights are used as the primary source of
lighting and Hang the lighting system from the ceiling,, Panel Lights
Stage lighting, Spot lights It is used to highlight a character or
element on stage and can be accompanied by coloured filters.

 8.ACP Aluminum Panel
ACP sheet or Aluminium Composite Panel is a new-age cladding
material that's used for building front elevation (facades), interiors,
signage, modular kitchen and many more. It is available in a wide
range of colours and textures like wood, stone, sand, 3D etc. In this
theatre Wall Cladding System that is designed perfectly to match
all the aspects of today’s environments.

 9.Ventilator
A balanced ventilation system usually has two fans and two duct
systems. Fresh air supply and exhaust vents can be installed in
every room, but a typical balanced ventilation system is designed
to supply fresh air to the occupants spend the most time. In this
theatre we see so many types of Air Ventilator and Air
conditioning, is a system used to cool down the temperature in an
inside space by removing the existing heat and moisture from the
room. Essentially, they work by taking warm air into a system and
dispersing cold air, but there is much more to this process.
