TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL
PLACEMENT POLICY FOR STUDENTS

1. All the students of graduate and post graduate courses are allowed to join college
placement cell.
2. 2.1 The interested MBA students will pay the requisite amount of fees Rs 10000 to join
placement cell. The fee has to be paid till end of the first semester. After the stipulated
time, if any student wants to join the placement cell, he/she will have to justify the reason
to the placement in-charge and campus Director and only after being satisfied, the student
shall be enrolled in the placement cell. Please note that late entry is just a privilege for
genuine reasons and not a right.
2.2 Interested candidates of graduate courses have to pay Rs 1000 amount which is fully
refundable to student after he successfully completes Six month’s with the company he/
she is placed in. For getting the refund student will write an application to TPO and
attach six months’ salary slip as a proof.
3. For MBA programme, Rs 4000 is refundable to student after he/ she successfully
completes Six month’s with the company he/ she got placed. For same student need to
write an application to TPO and attach six months’ salary slip as a proof.
4. For every program, it is mandatory for every enrolled student to attend all
placement sessions. Student of MBA programme having attendance less than 90% will
be not be allowed to be a part of placement cell and student of graduate courses has to
maintain 75% attendance of the sessions taken by placement cell. If they will be having
attendance less than 75%, they will be debarred from placement cell.
5. Every member has the right to appear in all the companies (with a maximum cap of 10)
in which he/she is eligible till selection in any one company.
6. For the processes going on parallel, the students can be allowed to appear in further
rounds if the process is already ongoing. However, in case any company has a single

 offer policy, the placement cell has the right to pull out the names from further
rounds.
7. All the students who give the consent for a given company have to appear in all rounds of
the process failing which a disciplinary action shall be taken.
8. For the first time offence, the student shall be disqualified for the next 5 processes.
9. If any student repeats the mistake even after the disqualification he/she shall be
debarred from the placement cell.
10. Post selection, the student shall be allowed to appear in next company only if the CTC is
more than 1.5 times than the previous offer if the student has not accepted the offer letter.
Once the student accepts the offer letter, he/she is out of the placement cell.
11. In case the student accepts second offer due to package issues, he/she will have to
surrender the previous offer in writing.
12. In case a student has any genuine issue for not appearing in the placement drive, he/she
has the right to explain to the discipline committee comprising of :
a. Training and placement officer and
b. Director
13. All the students appearing in any on campus/off campus drive have to bring their
resumes in color format for all the processes and should have their stationary and
recent photographs ready.
14. All the students attending/ organizing the placement drive has to fill the details in the
prescribed format of attendance with all the details completely filled. The form will be
signed by the placement officer and can be used to avail the attendance benefits.
15. The attendance benefit for the placement activities is absolute subject to the lectures held
on that very particular day and time.
16. All the students who are part of placement cell must submit a copy of their offer letter as
and when received from the companies.
17. If a student during the tenure of course denies the offer after getting selected by
company – Strict disciplinary action will be taken.
18. Once you are part of placement cell, various sessions will be held for your training and
Tests will be conducted out of those sessions. If your performance is found unsatisfactory
then you will be debarred from the placement cell.

 19. Once the student gets debarred from placement cell, procedure of getting back in
placement cell is as follows:
 Student has to write an application to the Unit Head/ Director requesting to be
taken back in Placement cell. Only after recommendation of Unit Head/ Director
Student will be permitted and would be under strict observation.
 After this, student has to maintain 100% attendance for the placement sessions
from the day he/ she joins back after getting debarred.
 Further student will be allocated tasks and he is expected to perform well in those
along with this he/she has to undergo series of test and must attain 90% marks in
those.
 After observing the behavior and seriousness of the students towards placements,
he/she will be allowed again in the placement cell and if during this whole process
student is found to be non serious, he/ she will be debarred permanently without
any further chance to join back placement cell.
